YESSSSS! I LOVE MY HERO ACADEMIA.

Honestly, I've never been so involved with an anime (except kinda JJBA) as much as I am with this series and honestly, I love all characters but my main favorites are Aizawa and Todoroki (i call him totty lmao)

Just recently, I cosplayed Deku and Aoyama in the gym uniform, and I had too much fun. xD

I've actually had to use double sided tape after arriving at the con (the day I was Aoyama) on the belt and light cause it kept unsticking before I used double sided tape. xD

Thankfully being Deku was the most simplest cosplay aside from Yuna from FFX. xD

what did you use for the belt for the Aoyama one?

Random but I really don't want season 3 to end soon. I'd be happy if they made filler episodes so I have something to watch cause I love My Hero Academia so much. D:

I just used a regular exercise belt and just used spray paint over it, and a push light. xD

I've liked HeroAca since before it was big >:D Although it gained widespread adoration really quickly, so I dunno if I can claim that lol. The first time I saw references to it was when that manga edit was going around of "the big three" passing on the torch to Deku. Been a fan of the author since his first series though!

The manga is better because a manga is better at being a manga. I only say this because the adaption is wonderful, but I wonder if studios really take full advantage of the medium. Anyway! That's off-topic! Currently, 17 volumes of HeroAca sit on my shelf~

I always adore the main character most, or I tend to anyway. But boooy do I stan Bakugo. He's awful, but so fun, and unfortunately relatable as heck to me. Who would you say you resemble most in the cast?

Yeah! Season 4! Have you seen the movie? I finally watched it, soon after the second movie was announced. It was so weird to watch one of these, like the ones I've seen of Naruto and One Piece... It was mostly fun to me as this weird cross between nostalgia and pride that HeroAca gets to be part of the "dozens of movies no one in canon will ever reference" thing. Thank god there aren't dozens of filler arcs to watch as well. The murder mystery episode they did for the movie was awful.

also i LOVE bakugou. hes a traumatised child and like. same feel, dude. i relate even more to todoroki though, tbh. we grew up in Very Unfortunately Similar Ways. (those sh*tty dads, amirite? finger guns.) outside of characters being relatable, i think my absolute favourites are uhh eri, kirishima, aizawa, natsuo, and hawks? but i absolutely adore all the girls. i love their relationships with each other.

who are everyones least favourite characters? and also favourite arcs!

I've been pretty lucky in regards to upbringing. It sucks kids have no choice what family they get stuck with ahaha;; On that note, I wonder how you feel about how Horikoshi is writing Endeavour's arc. To me it feels like it doesn't really do justice to the kinds of thinking it takes to treat their kids like he does, but I'm also a resentful person who'd rather see him suffer a bit lol (like, I don't even hate him or anything, but I take kids seriously, so...)

Oh wow I had to look up Natsuo :'D Yeah! All the girls are so cool~~ Not just them - I love all the little cliques that have formed in the class!

I don't have a least favorite I could name... I either love or am chill with them. Not even Mineta lol. I'm grateful for his existence 'cause Horikoshi has said Mineta contains all his pervyness in one, so thanks to this outlet there's only one gross pervy character and no one else feels like groping anyone haha. The yakuza arc was kind of disappointing to me since I was looking for something less direct than a raid as a resolution, though the Lemillion fight saved it for me. Mirioooo~~ ;A; The Bakugo rescue arc is the winner, hands down. It has that sweet pay-off to Bakugo's growing friendship with Kirishima and the AfO confrontation.

i mean bakugou was kidnapped by villains, literally almost died in the first few episodes, and his mother is abusive (which we saw when all might and aizawa were at his house), so its pretty hard to not believe these may have left some kind of lasting negative impression, yknow? context clues!

i have to say, i absolutely Despise mineta. why does horikoshi need an outlet for perving on teenage girls. Ew. i also really dont like endeavour, mitsuki, or overhaul. theyre all nasty, nasty people and i hate them. bad.

i love the bakugou and eri rescue arcs!!! the eri one was very tough to read for me because of all of the heavy subject matter but boy did nighteye and mirio and hit me right in the honey nut feelios. and then seeing eri smile for the first time at the culture festival!!!!! i also really love everything that involves bakugou growing as a person and learning that maybe hes uhh not actually a great person right now, like in some of the more recent chapters where he took a blow for jirou, and told that kid something really profound after the hero licence arc and he has to do the remedial course with the others.

OH i forgot about fatgum. i love him. hes so kind and i want to hug him.

Bakugou's mom seems very, err... pushy and rough, and he definitely absorbed his social skills from her lol... It's tough for me to feel much trauma in his character at all since we so rarely get to see him more chilled out. Am surprised every time we're reminded he's smart,,,,,, Butyea I too adore those moments of Bakugou growing as a person. I always have the deepest affection for characters who change a lot. It's kind of rewarding to love absolute bastards in fiction sometimes, haha~

People's hatred for the "gross grape diaper baby" is too amusing for me to hate his existence B) But I can totally see why. I mean, I hate the things he does, but at least I'm at peace knowing everyone hates him. It being acknowledged in-canon that something is shitty allows me to kind of... not mind it.

BNHA is fun! I recently caught up on the anime, and I’ve been trying to catch up on the manga (from where the anime left off) as well. I hadn’t really read any of it (though I was well-spoiled), but then my friend linked me ch.226 with Himiko’s backstory and I’ve backtracked a little to properly catch up, haha.

My favorite characters are Himiko and Tsuyu! Tsuyu is too cute not to like, and Himiko is so interesting to me (and also very cute; she reminds me of a cat). A lot of people see her as just “boy-crazy yandere”, but I never really saw her that way?? Especially after learning her backstory; it’s pretty clear to me that she’s mostly just lonely, and has some major identity issues due to her awful upbringing and her parents’ lack of love and support. ;__; The system and her family both failed her, and now she’s rooted into some awful behavior.

I also liked Curious a lot, and was hoping we’d see more of her, but... RIP. Some other runners-up for faves are Mei, Ryukyu, Nejire, Ms. Joke, and Mirko!

I think my least-favorite character is probably Overhaul. A lot of people think he’s really cool, but I just can’t click with him?? His design is a bit bland, and he’s not over-the-top enough to feel like a cool villain to me, or human enough to be a sympathetic villain; he’s just sorta... awful.

On the hero side: Bakugou is okay, but I find him kind of annoying, haha. ;; I’m glad that he’s finally getting some development away from “angry boy who yells all the time”, though! He’s such a popular character, but the constant anger/aggressiveness was kind of grating to me, personally. It’s nice to see him gradually starting to grow past that.

I generally try to stay out of the fandom since there are a lot of very vocal drama-stirrers (also a number of, uh, weird people). Still, I poke my head out of my shell every now and then to look for nice fanart and sometimes make my own. :’D

BNHA is great, i love how you can make pretty much any oc with any type of power, and it fits within the setting as a quirk! yeah, there are lotsa fantasy settings where you can get away with that, but with BNHA it takes place in a modern/futuristic world!

i gotta make a confession, though.. i might like class B more than class A lmao. i do like some of the individual class A students, but i think a lot of the class b students are cooler, more unique. like, satou and koda are pretty boring, but whats up with kamakiri and bondo? those dudes are WILD

the villains are great too! well, i mean some of them are. the league of villains are great (even tho i hate AFO for what hes done to tomura). overhaul is a child abuser and therefore Can Burn In Hell (with endeavor and yes im puttin him in the villain section). and whats up with stealing the plague doctor aesthetic??? go away, you eugenics enthusiast, plague doctor masks are for cool people. i havent really been keepin up in the latest arc, so im not super familiar with redestro but?? teamwork makes the dream work LOV im so proud of you guys.

honestly, dont care for bakugou. hes not the devil or anything, hes just a kid, but... he bullied izuku for years bc of how izuku Was Born (mirroring IRL ableism) and like, sure hes chilling out a bit but?? we dont have proof that he doesnt still look down on quirkless people?? besides all that, he just feels (pardon the pun) 2 dimensional to me. im not very invested in him or his story, bc he never faces real consequences. idk, i was bullied for years as a kid, so i dont care to see a bully never get punished, and just keep winning fights. ochako totally shouldve won that fight in the sports festival! i mean, pretty much none of the girls ever get to do important things/have impressive fights. dont even get me started on how bad their costumes are. i mean, why does ochako have HEELS? why doesnt she have body armor to protect her from falling debris?? shes planning to do rescue work, so thats gonna be a major hazard! hagakures is a disgusting mess. youre telling me they can science up a special costume for mirio, but they cant make one for hagakure? if she gets hurt out in the field (WHEN SHE IS LITERALLY NAKED) and passes out, no one will be able to find her.. bye bye hagakure! momos is.. momos. honestly... theyre all SO BAD.......

i promise i do like bnha its just that the creator is A Man Who Feels The Need To Draw 15 Year Old Girls Naked/Nearly Naked/In Skintight Catsuits.

i love izuku as a protag, most shounen protags Never Cry. i do wish he didnt get OFA tho.. it wouldve been more interesting as a story of how he rose above societies views and became the first quirkless hero. with him getting OFA.. its like saying, you can achieve your dreams- because i am giving you the opportunity to magically change the natural thing about yourself that society doesnt approve of! we couldve had a new rock lee but we got the millionth naruto, yknow? i mean, midnights quirk is generating sleeping gas. if someone so much as PUTS ON A GAS MASK she has to fight them quirkless, essentially...
