This has already probably been answered, but I was away from Subeta for a time, and have become interested in turning one of my pets into the Sweetheart color. How do I do that?

Nowadays there's a FAQ Guide in the upper right of the News page that has most answers. It tells you you can get the Sweetheart Potion from Louis L'amour's shop but doesn't tell you which year you can find it in? Maybe the link there in the FAQ Guide will take you to the right year, and if it does take you to a year other than 2018 scroll down to the bottom. Or if it does go to 2018 you will need to find out. For that, you need to go to the fansite Subetalodge.

the sweetheart potion is found in the 2013 tab of l'amour parlour and costs 100 candy hearts.

I was wondering about whether to mention you could just buy it from folks. It appears you don't necessarily want to do that. The price of the potion in usershops reflects the timecost of buying up and turning in all those hearts. If you do it yourself at current market price you can save yourself some serious sP. Which one you do depends on how aggravating it is to you to do the buying up and turning in yourself or if you want to wait until next Survival and do some smooching.

I just bought candy hearts from a user who had over 100 of them listed at 19,998sp. In the shop with the potion, there is an auto turn in button for candy hearts. I got a sweetheart pet for under 2 mil when buying the potion on shop search costs 4.8 mil.
