Why is 'Endless' Matals Jewels not endless? And why do I keep getting the 'No More Moves' screen?

This game is like a guilty pleasure of mine and it's really bugging me that I can't get past level 8 because of this. Any advice would be cool. Ta.

You are allowed 1 reshuffle per game - once that's done, its possible to lose the game through having no possible moves. That why you get the no more moves message.

You can also lose by not removing ingredients fast enough - that's the one that usually gets me on endless mode.

You get a higher score in the timed game, so I always play that one. Though if you're trying for the level 10 achievement I think you're slightly better off playing the endless version. I easily get to level 8 in the endless version, but usually only manage level 6-7 in the timed one.

The game is almost entirely based on luck - even though it looks skills based. So, if you're trying for achievements, just play it a lot! Sooner or later you'll have luck on your side and you'll get to level 10.

I've been playing mainly as it's pleasing pattern recognition, not too fussed about the achievements tbh. I do want to make it to the end of the game though as I really want to see the little orange Xotls lol.

I tried the Timed game- I don't usually like having time limits but since I was so used to playing the [not]Endless it was actually pretty fun, I still luck out at level 8 though, grr.

I've just realised too that if you click the '?' the rules come up. I'm not sure how I hadn't done that before- I think I'd just been assuming I did.

Hey I love playing this game so much too! I was wondering though I feel like the game randomly shuffles but can you get a shuffle every game? I feel like sometimes it doesnt shuffle so maybe I am missing something...

If you run out of possible moves it shuffles once. The second time it runs out of moves, you lose the game. If its not shuffling the first time, its possible you are missing a combination. Its also possible that you didn't notice the first shuffle.

If you click on the scorpion on the top right corner of the game it will blink some images to show you a possible move. The scorpion disappears if you are too close to running out of time.
