Hey!

It appears the RP Forums are mostly inactive (excluding 1/1 searches). I came back on subeta looking for an enjoyable/casual means to get myself posting in the forums, and to make some friends, but all the role play threads I wanted to join date back to last year...

This would be a literate, multi-paragraph per post RP. If you don’t want to write long paragraphs, this won’t be the thread for you. I’d prefer it be a role play with people, and not pets.

If there are enough users who feel the same way I do, and we can agree on a genre or a setting that suits our interests, I’d be down to arrange a plot or something.

P.S. I think I should also add that I’m mainly focused on creating an active group with users around my own age and skill— so, university level writers if that’s reasonable.

I'm interested, but this place does look pretty dead as far as group forum RPs go. Let me know if you find more people!

actually just popped in to see if any group rpgs just starting to form, not a huge fan of jumping into group ones that are already started unless I like the idea and have a basic concept of what has happened, etc plus looking at the ones that appear active besides 1x1s, I think most are now unactive or too far into the actual plot for a new character to actually make an appearance without it being weird.

and right now, I really don't want to devote to any 1x1's, I want to settle back into a group rpg as a means to relax and meet some people on the site.

as for pets, I am not a huge fan of using them in rpgs.. I rather have an OC. Through a couple of my pets are named after OCs.. not all mine through (Kuroe, Klo and Zaki).

I have always been considered literate and I am fine with a few paragraphs as long as I am giving material to work with. Had a few issues in past rpgs where I might not have written huge paragraphs but I wasn't like my friends that wrote walls of texts each post.

Since I am not sure your skill or age set, I am use to rpging in a wide array of age groups and I have been an rpger for about a good 10 years, give or take a few years where I wasn't involved with an active rpg due to friends being busy or between sites.

Also can say I am comfortable with any genre, probably rpged all of them through can say not a huge fan of the ones based off of actual shows.. through I can somewhat do those if they are like Sailor Moon, Pokémon, Digimon, Voltron (80's version over the reboot but won't rule the reboot out since I have seen the first series of it), etc.

Anyway, just give me a shout if enough would be interested. Just about to go back to Uni but I am pretty much check back every day since I travel 45 mins back and forth to it. XD

I'm interested in forming a forum group. I have tried to get into RPs on here before, but they never got past introducing characters. I prefer people over pets as the focus, but also enjoy people with pets. I am a university level writer and can write a few paragraphs as long as there is something to write about. I also prefer original worlds over fandoms, but I won't rule them out.

I am interested and need this in my life.

Sorry for the slow response. :) I am still interested if you guys are. It seems we are leaning toward an original RP, with original characters? Nowadays, I'm not much into fandom either. 😓

How do you guys feel about modern fantasy or medieval fantasy? I know those are pretty broad genres, but I feel confident generating an exciting plot for any of these. Maybe something Halloween-ey, to get us in the holiday spirit! 🎃 I can type up a few plots, and we can vote/discuss what is most appealing to us. What do we think?

Can I jump in on this too? I'm good with fantasy, but I'll roleplay any genre. I'm like the others above, I can write quite a bit, but I need something to write about and lots of character interaction or I lose muse fast.

Since finishing with school and work is making the entire salon cut back a day, I could use something fun. I do a lot of roleplaying on a hosted forum and I generally tend to lean towards fantasy as well. I'd be happy to share with you some samples if you require them also :)

Sorry for not replying back sooner, got busy with Uni being out and Xmas.

I am very much fine with either modern or medieval fantasy - have an OC that basically fits in to that genre, just adopted Analiese a few days ago since her name was almost the name of that OC, lol.

Most of my forum activity is RPG related, and it is super disheartening with how dead these forums are. I would be thrilled to join in on an active group RPG! Multi-paragraph post games are my peanut butter and jaaaam too - gives plenty of space for character development and really helps propel the RP forward if everyone writes 2-3 paragraphs per post, so I'm all in on that. Fantasy in any time period is delightful. Definitely one for people > pet games.
