I've been a user for 11 years, 5 months, 2 weeks, 6 days... but I've never done a single one of Sarah's quests.

And now that I'm back after a hiatus, I'm wondering if it is worth dumping the 57mil sP out of my vault in order to try and get her achievements.

I know it doesn't gain me anything other than adding 7 points to my overall achievement count. And, of course, that would also mean delaying adding to my Saggitarius quests achievements while I did hers... and I don't know if she'll count the sP in my shop, which is slowly building to help its own set of achievements...

Has anyone else done this and/or thought about doing this? I'd really appreciate your opinions and feedback.

(also, I apologize if this is in the wrong forum-- I wasn't sure if it should go under help or achievement complaining, since it's not really either of those, so I settled on discussion)

As of the last time I did Sarah's quests, she didn't count the new shop tills (but I think she's supposed to so that may have been fixed)

Really, 57m isn't a huge amount to have to start over from to get the achievements knocked out. If you're saving for something specific that will drain your vault later, then it's probably just as worthwhile to wait, but if you're building sP for no particular reason/to decide what to do with in the future, it's probably better to get the achievements out of the way before you get to an amount that WILL be tougher to rebuild.

I also had not finished Sarah's quests when I was new and had to dump some sP in order to do them, but I like to collect achievements anyway and I drain my vault and start over from scratch at least once a year or so anyway. It seems to keep me motivated to actually DO my quests better than building up continually bigger numbers does. So it was worth it for me

I'd say it's worth it, if only to get them out of the way early on.

I want to say it's still allowed to have a friend to hold your sP so that you can do Sarah's quests? So that might be a decent way to do it without spending it all. It's best to fill a ticket and double-check if this is allowed, though. Her quests were sort of a hot topic back during quest-a-thons, so better safe than sorry. :/

i can answer that since i had the thread for the last quest-a-thon -- as of last summer, "per staff, if you want to do both sarah and saggitarus' quests, you can have another user hold your money to keep you under sarah's limit while you quest. stick to trades for money transfers. remember, the forum group loophole used to get around the sP limit on your own is not allowed."

transferring money between two users is fine for sarah's quests. you can do that for richest user too, but that'd take... way more than two people, p:

i would also say it's worth it to do sarah's quests, just to get through the achievements... but we're also supposed to have a quest-a-thon at some point this year, so i just would wait for that, and then buy a lot of csc. after the quest-a-thon is over, you can sell the csc to put money back in your shop till for those achievements. that way you don't end up trading money back and forth a lot.

I do Sarah's quests most days. Shop tills still don't count, so I leave my sP there. You can do Saggi quests at the same time if you time it right. At 15 quests (if you get a GA) I usually earn about 500,000 from her. Then do Wiz quests and one other set of quests and you should be able to do saggy quests if you want. Without a GA, you'd need to do a few more quests.

I usually buy the seasonal items from the Millionaire Center to use up my earnings so I can keep doing Sarah quests. That way I'm also working on those MC achievements at the same time.

If you're working on your shop till achievements too, you could price some junk at outrageous prices, send a friend your sP and have them buy those items from your shop. Two birds with one stone and all.

Thank you for clearing it up! c: I wasn't 100% sure if having a friend hold your sP was still allowed or not. I don't mess with Sarah's quests outside of quest-a-thons.

Also, if OP goes the "buy all the CSC" route, maybe hold on to some of the CSC for Black Friday? Justsayin'.

Sarah's quests are a good excuse to grab things from your wishlist. There are always things I want or need, so I grabbed a lot while trying to keep myself poor enough to do them. You could always make yourself poor grabbing things for other achievements - there's enough item achievements to go around.

Thanks everyone! You've given me a lot to consider :)

I've been gone for a while, so quest-a-thons aren't something I'm too familiar with, but I'm sure it'll be pretty hard to miss when it happens.

And, if I suddenly decide that I just can't wait, I'll ask my sister to hold my funds for me. She's pretty awesome like that.
