I don't know if it's just me, but when I'm playing Net Gain, it feels like the hit box on the net is so super-small; there will be times where I swear I'm centered perfectly with the bug, only for the bug to just drift on by right past my net.

Does anyone have any tips on playing?

The only thing I've got right now is that I've noticed the lower part of the net is a little bit more forgiving than the upper part, so if I come in a tad low, I can "scoop" them by moving up a notch.

I've found the same thing. Scooping does help, but it does have to be timed just right.

Don't have any tips to add. I played until I got all my achievements for the game, then rarely played again, only testing it out if someone had a question or problem.

A very long time ago, shortly after the game came out, a staff member posted an image of the "box" area and it was very, very tight to the limits of the net image.

Yeah, I'm going for the achievements, so it's proving to be... frustrating. Oh well.

I specifically searched the forums because I have this exact same problem. It's super frustrating that it's just...like that. I wonder if this is a common enough issue that we could request they edit the game. Even if the capture box isn't made bigger, I'd appreciate them shrinking the net so that it doesn't look like you're about to capture a bug when you're apparently off.
