So I don't like to complain but this has happened to me today for like the tenth time recently. It's not so bad on the lower levels but when you're in the 90s and then you accidentally click that quit button it's like a stab of despair as you go right back to zero without so much as an 'are you sure?'. And, to top it off, you're stuck with the item you bought for that particular level which is usually not cheap. Can we please get a confirmation pop up? We have them for quests and those have much lower stakes. I have fine motor problems and it would really make the whole game more accessible, since I'm sure I'm not the only one who's had this happen.
I have had it happen myself. However, I have another suggestion for item hunter. I think I was somewhere around 90 and it asked for cash shop items. I had to go back to zero because I couldn't afford to put cash on the game or put this item with sp. Maybe we could stop asking for cash shop items as it's not fair to the broke users and I'm not broke in sp I just couldn't buy the item. Please n thank you for reading this.
Item Hunt is supposed to be really hard, not to mention really expensive to complete, and you can always buy CSC with sP, so I don't really see the need to limit CS items considering it can ask for plenty of more expensive/unbuyable sP items already, than the ~30m you might spend on 250 CSC for something in the Cash Shop
I support the confirmation on quitting though, just because it IS such a long and expensive process
Yeah, at the very least there should be a confirmation pop-up for the quit button. We have it on all of the other quests, and those aren't nearly as big of an issue if you accidentally quit one of them. It only makes sense for Item Hunt to have a confirmation as well.
big big support

Oh my god. This has happened to me as well, so I 100% support having a confirmation button.

As always when this topic comes up: full support.
Personally I would get rid of the confirmations on the the regular quests. If you mess up and cancel a regular quest, its one quest. When you make a mistake on item hunt, you "lose" a whole lot more!

This topic again, ah it takes me back.
I vote no. theres no time limit under a minute for quests, so take your time and you'll be fine.
And I've mis-clicked plenty because I'm on a laptop but use a mouse, so I've had the whole "nudged the touch pad" thing happen to me.
But I still say no. And given how many times this topic comes up and is shot down, I'm assuming it won't happen.

Please yes. PLEASE please please. I did this a while ago accidently quitting and I was on a high level I felt pretty awful because my browser window moved down as I clicked and it quit ;_;
I'm sorry, but this, THIS is the idea of the year. If nothing but this for the year got implemented, I wouldn't complain. lol

Bringing this back because it has happened to me yet again yesterday. This site is really inaccessible at times but surely this could be an easy fix?
I have always supported this idea, and I've no idea why it's not been implemented. It seems massively unfair to get really high, at great expense, and then lose because of a mis-click, or a glitchy touchpad.
I have arthritis in the neck which can effect my coordination. It's likely there are other users with disabilities which have a similar effect. Why should we be punished for accidentally clicking a quit button when the reason for doing so is beyond our control?
I have arthritis in my hands which can cause them to seize up and make me press the button and quit accidentally. I understand the frustration but what happens if you get that confirmation message and then still accidentally quit? Do we need more confirmation messages?

It would give players with disabilities an extra chance.
Ligress said they accidentally quit because their browser window moved down as they clicked. This can happen when the site is a bit laggy.
I'd love a confirmation message, I've misclicked before on my phone's small screen while playing and seeing all that progress lost in a single misaimed tap is tragic 😭
Just happened to me today I'm weeping. Item Hunt pls.
