As I try to make my wardrobe more manageable, I have taken so many things out of my face layer because they aren't actual facial features, but things that cover features -- like masks, glasses, bandanas, piercings, etc... I hate trying to browse through hundreds of items that don't really help me put a face together looking for the things I need. So I take tons of things out. Then I end up having to put things back in because I want them -- like the masks for masquerade, sunglasses for summer, and so on. Could we have another wardrobe layer for all of these things so I can find the right set of eyes without wading through hundreds of masks and glasses or doing yet another mass add/dump to and from the wardrobe?

I realize this would be a pain to do, but so is the (very badly needed) separation of wigs from other head layer items. It would be immensely helpful.

Full support for this! I've sorted my face layer into various drawers (eyewear, eyes, mouths, & facial hair) in an effort to clean up the face layer in my wardrobe. It can be tough sifting through the various accessories when really you just want to find some nice eyes. A facial accessory layer would be a fantastic addition and would make searching through the face layer much easier. c:

I think it would be kind of nice to have a separate layer for facial accessories like glasses and masks and stuff. It can already be difficult to find the pair of eyes or nose you're looking for, because a lot of those items have names and item images that don't represent what the actual overlay looks like at all. Sometimes I sort of remember what the overlay for an item looks like, but I can't remember the name so I end up going through the whole layer trying to find it. ;~;

I know hats/wigs/other hair things are already in the works to be separated out, so if the face layer could get the same attention it would be helpful. c:

The fact that there is already a separate item category for 'Makeup' (vs the more encompassing 'Clothing') makes me suspect that something like this is probably already underway...?

Personally I just filter lip/eye items into their own drawers as I add them, and don't have any problem finding those things.

where is there a separate category for makeup? :o the only thing i can think of is when submitting cws for approval, but that’s solely for pricing i believe

Ah, I meant inventory categories, rather than in the wardrobe; sorry for not making that clear. -_-; (But if staff are taking the time to separate them that way it probably indicates future wardrobe changes, I figured? Likewise there is a separate inventory category for 'Wig'.) If you have the items in your inventory, you can sort them by category (sorting options listed at the top of the page).

In case you aren't aware of it, on SubetaLodge we have sorted facial items into these categories: eye nose mouth eyebrow cheek full face accessory mask facial hair

I know it is not as convenient as having it right in the wardrobe to try them on as you come across them but hopefully it will help somewhat.
