Using Chrome browser on android phone with most recent "Oreo" update.
When I browse the site and use the back button, (especially when I'm restocking in amd browsing shops) the site will go wonky and display like this:

This may be a glitch with your phone's hardware acceleration. Can you try going into your settings and turning off hardware acceleration for chrome, and see if that fixes the issue?

Did that resolve the issue?

Nope. If I use my back button at all instead of buttons within the page to go back or navigate, the whole site still goes wonky. And thr bits and pieces of the images are both previous pages along with bit of the current page. Also, over a period of time it gradually happens anyway, regardless of what buttons/methods I use to navigate and change pages......I'll have half of the page's images not load properly, and then just stop loading all together. Very frustrating. My sessions are lasting a few minutes at a time before I have to stop in recent days.
This is the only site I have this problem with.
EDIT
It's mostly in Plushie Parlour that I have the problem. I will leave that page and go to others, amd they will display fine. When I go back to the plushies, bam all screwy again.
I too have the puzzle page problem in the shops. I use up-to-date Chrome on an Android as well. When it happens, I have to close the tab to make it stop. This phone is only 2 weeks old, and I didn't have this problem on my old phone. But I hadn't updated Chrome in a few. So I can only hazard a guess that one of their updates broke something in the shops in their browser.
I'm using a new LG G6 phone with up-to-date Android OS "Oreo" and up-to-date Chrome.
The plushie shop keeps breaking for me too during restocking (especially hitting the back button). Shops with smaller inventory seem fine. When the "puzzle page" happens I also have to close the tab.
- I can't find a hardware acceleration setting for the Android Chrome phone app. The settings are very "simple" compared to when I use Chrome on my laptop.

I have a new suggestion - can you guys try "Request Desktop Site" and see if it still has the same problem? The site should look about the same since we got rid of the mobile layout, but maybe it will cause Chrome to render it more properly.

, there is no longer that option for me. Since the mobile version was scrapped, it is just like the desktop. I actually thought I had hit that option accidently when the flip happened. :P
No, it's an option in the browser (or at least, Chrome should have this option) and it should be there either way. Try clicking the ... in the top right and see if it's an option there?

I keep getting random white pages.
RIP Mom, I love & miss you more than you know. Tell Dede hi.
Ocean Conservation Namibia on YouTube... they do good work! https://www.ocnamibia.org
- I checked the box next to "Desktop site" in Chrome. I got some random SQL error pages (once clicking on the commerce tab and another while making a purchase in the plushie shop) and then the plushie shop went back to Picasso plushies. Super weird.

Hi . ^^ Sorry it took me a while to respond; life happened. :P I found that option and clicked it. Didn't have time for a few days to play much on my phone. The problem doesn't seem to crop up as often now, but it still breaks up the page all over. I usually have it happen more when I have been in shops that have smaller inventories and go to a bigger shop. The Book Nook is my culprit most of the time, but the Minion Market will bug out from time to time as well. Clickin' that "Desktop Site" option seems to have cut the occurrence way down, though. Where it would happen more than half the time I tried to RS, now it happens maybe a quarter of the time, maybe less. I'm sorry, I wish I could come and say it fixed everything. -- But more info may help in the long run, so I share. ^_^
Trying to clean up some older boards. Are you guys still having issues with this happening?

, thank you for checkin', but come to think on it, I myself haven't had this issue in a while now. 😊 crosses her fingers and knocks on wood in hopes she didn't just jinx herself :P
I hope that means it's been fixed!
Do you recall if you did anything, or if anything happened (like if the browser app had an update) that may have fixed the issue?
As it seems to be a browser/device issue, unfortunately I don't think there is anything Subeta can do on our end to fix it, however the information can help us advise people if it happens again in the future. Let's hope the issue is gone for good though!

Hi . 😊 I don't remember doin' anything else other than what I had described in my earlier post, and I have absolutely no programmer experience, so my mind has come to the conclusion that there must've been a Chrome update that fixed it, as I haven't had this issue in a while now personally. Thank you for for your time, and I hope my info has been of some help. :D
