Outfit Not Found My entry is about a girl who has lots of dreams, she steals her dad's car and goes on an adventure of love, humor and romance. After all her adventuring she realizes she misses her family and returns home to find they have missed her a ton. The music is really hip kind of like grease or hairspray.

Can I ask what it means com/rom? (language issues here lol). I understand that the challenge is about to create an OC for a musical, but I don't get what com/rom means. Could you explain me?

English is not my native language and it's nearing 11pm, so I apologise in advance for my grammar. I think that it's an original story (definitely read far too many Japanese-themed stories lately) that I constructed here half-asleep and I hope that I've got the meaning of this "Rom/Com Summer Musical" right, as yes, language issues and I'm a horrible (romance) writer '^^

Outfit Not Found Reika is an oceanographer who one day ends up stranded on a seemingly deserted beach due to the daylight-saving time and a confusion of appointments. She eventually manages to find an run-down inn with beautiful coral reefs nearby and, even more astounding, apparently inexplicable phenomenons in the seawater. Reika puts up at the small hotel to do some research on those watery phenomenons and only by chance, she discovers that the inn's owner, Shuichi, is providing shelter to supernatural beings called yokai. Those being also responsible for the water apparitions and the absence of guests. She realises that Shuichi wants to protect and get a better understanding of those beings as much as she wants to protect and understand the ocean. Also, she becomes friends with the supernatural beings, especially with a bakeneko ("monster cat") named Mayoi. Together, Reika and Shuichi come up with a plan to save both the inn and the yokai. Through this, they inevitably come closer to each other.

You can create the couple if you'd like (it would contribute to your story for sure), but I'll only judge the main character~

Of course! "Rom/Com" is an abbreviation for the Romance/Comedy film genre. I think that should explain it enough, but if not I can go more in depth for you. :)

Let me tell you that I love the fact that you call Shuichi at one of your characters. And then saw your signature... I'm a Yu Yu Hakusho fan, and Kurama/Shuichi Minamino is my fav character. It's a totally OFF TOPIC, but I just wanted to say it lol.

Ah yes, the names. I admit that "Shuichi" was the first (male) name that came to mind, when I wrote this "summary" down. I didn't know there were YYH fans left here. And yes, Kurama =^.^= Small side notice: "Reikan" can be translated to "ability to sense the supernatural". By taking away the last letter, I had my female main character name.

Outfit Not Found Dahlia is a artsy girl with a green thumb. A unique face in the quiet little town she grew up in. Ryan is a shy new boy in her agriculture class who is handier than you'd expect. When they both have to help repair the watering system in the community greenhouse, they overhear one of the older volunteers saying they may have to shut it down due to budget cuts. After countless fundraisers from bake sales, to car washes, the two still don't have enough. Taking what funds they had saved they decide to hold something that would REALLY appeal to the small town folk, a fair! pulling it off through DIY's, help from the local farmers, who all believe in the greenhouse's importance, and a LOT of time, they pull it off. In the end their hard work pays off, people from not only their own town but all nearby ones show up and as the night comes to a close Dahlia looks back at all the fun they had together while raising the money and how she'd like to be more than friends, apparently he feels the same, swooping her into a kiss.

As a mermaid she was told to look but never come close enough to reveal herself, as humans held grudges against the sirens of the sea who had supposedly led so many of their kind to doom. So she would be content to collect the variables that were thrown overboard and lost at the bottom of the sea, admiring the handsome men and dreaming of a romance along the shores. Until one day her treasures are discovered by a pirate who decides to help himself to her hoard.

The best she has been able to do is free her arms and head. Eventually, Caillen hears people coming to the edge of her pool, and sees the most beautiful woman she has ever laid eyes on camping with her friends. As a seal, she attempts to woo her, until she eventually sheds part of her skin, but makes plenty of charmingly awkward attempts to seduce the other, who ends up far more receptive to it than either expected, eventually leading Caillen to completely remove her skin and emerge from her pool, true love's power enabling her to return home... Where ever home may now be.
