Categorize the Item Directory?

I think it would be really awesome if the Item Directory could be categorized by the type of item. I would love to go there and sort the items by release and check and make sure I haven't missed any plushies, beanbags, or wearables that were released in the past month or so. Sorting them would make things so much easier. Thoughts?

Could be solved by simply making the item for both categories, or just having a "multi-use" tab. Kind of how in the antique shop, they have the normal shop, then the one that adds directly to your collection for a discounted price.
Types and uses are two different things! Items can only have one item while they could have many uses so sorting by item type might not be the most effective. is actually working on an Item Directory update which will be very rad and I believe show types/uses. And searching.

Honestly, even just being able to search by keywords or partial item names would be a major step up from having to search for exact item names.
Looking forward to seeing the updated version whenever it's ready!
I'm excited for an Item Directory update (lol probably haven't used it in a decade), but SubetaLodge already does a great job of doing that function.. so I tend to use SL like 99% of the time I'm looking for something.
