: Interested in Yvaine especially, or Aine, if Yvaine is unavailable. It's funny, I looked at those two names specifically several months ago. XD

I really love Aine! Its a very sweet name.
FINALLY GOT THE 15K WARDROBE DONE!!!!! Next up gutting and selling it.
I too am interested in Aine. I saw you had her UFA months ago, but by the time I was ready to apply, you had locked the thread. :)
I have an imaginary world called Hiverete that most of my pets live in. It looks like this, though that's outdated.
In my story, Hiverete was created by two star sisters. I named them Aine and Grian after the Irish goddess(es). In the beginning, they were equal and close, almost in a symbiotic relationship. They created Hiverete with pieces of themselves, creating earth and sea out of nothing with their own star energy. There is even a large piece of themselves embedded deep in the heart of Hiverete, miles below where Literatura currently stands.
The sisters agreed to split the land in half so each could put her individual mark on it. Aine took the West, encompassing what is now the Anoziran Desert, Tidalia and Viridis. She infused color everywhere she went. Anozira wasn't originally a desert, but it was field upon field of vibrant red and orange flowers. Tidalia, or the Mud Flats as they're colloquially called, were ruddy brown clay pits designed to stimulate creativity. She loved rainbows and designed her half of Hiverete to be a rainbow gradient. Grian took the East, including Alltumn, the Airebis Mountains, Butterfloe Bay, and Nevaria. She was less concerned with aesthetics than she was with learning. She loved words and literature and she literally wove them into the earth. There are mines in the mountains that recover ink. Even vibrant Alltumn was her resource for paper.
But then they argued. It is not clear what about. Maybe Grian was mad because she thought Aine was encroaching on her turf - if you look at the map, you can see that Coloratura, founded by Aine, is farther east than maybe is proper. But whatever it was, they had a terrible battle. Grian laid waste to Anozira and trapped Aine there among the hoodoos. In return, Grian was severely weakened. She retreated to the mountains, but she could no longer provide enough warmth for her half of the land. When Aine heard of this, she felt for the people suffering under Grian's care. She sent her assistant, Rime, to the barren space between Airebis and Nevaria and charged her to start an eternal flame there to help warm the land. She also told Rime to create Adage to take care of the flame, along with her descendants.
Ever since, the sisters have lived like this, neither venturing from their own corners of the world. During the day, Aine rises to the highest hoodoo and looks out on the land. She is searching for something, but maybe she doesn't even know what. At night, Grian looks out from the highest mountain peak. In this way, they have become the sun and the moon of their world.
This is also how Hiverete got its name. "Hiver" is the French word for winter, and "été" is the French word for summer. It speaks to the dual nature of the land.
I was only using the names Aine and Grian as placeholders until I could think of something better, but they've grown on me. I also like the idea of them being linked to Irish mythology, especially since it seems like there's a lot of disagreement as to their true roles in the mythology. (Where they two different people? Were they the same? Was one the sun and one the moon, or were they both the sun but one was during the summer and the other during the winter?) I think it would be cool if the "real" Aine and Grian are the star sisters who created Hiverete, but somehow their story bled through to our Earth and became myth. Not unlike how you could say that Marvel's Thor is the "real" story and the Norse mythology was a bungled retelling.
I don't currently have space but I hope to real soon. I would like to give Aine an October birthday like most of my pets have. I actually have a pet who is waiting to be one of the star sisters - Explosie - and I think she would suit quite nicely. If you are willing to wait until I can afford to name swap or buy an extra space, I am hoping it won't take me long. :D
With all my pets, I train them to level 60/150 all else, read to them (current goal is to get to 500 but a lot are just under that because it's starting to get expensive), give them an appropriate minion, and fill their TCs. I like to make patterns in the TCs (like Cheery Bee's, Anozira's, Wae's, or Fa's), but because I'm changing the coding, I have to do it a little differently and I'm not sure how I'm going to do it yet. Recently I've just been stuffing everything relevant into the TCs (see Fiddle's and Musically's for the most recent).
I also do my own coding, art, and stories. My current coding is out of date so I haven't put it on my newer pets' profiles; I'm hoping to make an updated version by the end of the summer. Art is more sporadic. My most recent attempt can be seen on Adage's profile, but you can see older ones on Cheery Bee's, Fa's, or Eireann's pages. I also create overlays when appropriate - see Zor-El or Eleonor for two that I'm particularly proud of.
Thank you for the chance to apply. Good luck in making your decisions. :D
I'm definitely interested in Serana! I'll post an app when I get on my laptop unless you don't need one. :)
You can have Aine :) I can't hold her for an extended period of time, however. You can PM me and we can discuss the details, though.
Apps aren't required, but they don't hurt. I'd prefer for them to all be on the forum so they're in one place, though.
Haha I completely understand. There are two concepts I can go with. One is original and the other is of course a fanpet to Skyrim since Serana is actually one of my favorite characters in the game. (my top three actually lol) I will use spoiler tags so this post wont be too big. Will make it easier to navigate for you. Ironically both characters are of vampire origin lol.
Fan Pet
Pet Color and Species: Bloodred Endeavor, Bloodred Lasirus, Glacier Lasirus or Graveyard Lasirus
Minion: or
Treasure: Vampire items, Elder Scrolls tribute items(especially any dark ones pertaining to Molag Bol or other daedric princes)
Story Concept When it comes to writing for Serana there are a few routes I could go. One could obviously be about her and the Dawnguard storyline in Skyrim. Another would involve tying her into my male vampire character(which is more likely!). I will go over my vampire character since I am sure you are aware of her actual character. XD
My male vampire character is named Aldur. He is an Altmer mage specializing in illusion and destruction magic(specifically blood and fire). I heavily mod my game so I didn't have to have him use the vanilla story where he was caught crossing the border. It didn't feel right for his character lol. Anyway he is vindictive and highly manipulative even before he was a vampire. Ironically he was part of the Aldmeri Dominion and was considered their "weapon" since he was by far their most ruthless mage. They sent him to Skyrim in order to ensure their leash on the lands would remain ever-so-tight. Naturally he did as he was ordered but his main motive was to gain knowledge and power to ultimately return and take over the group.
When he got to the new lands he found out just how serious the situation was in Skyrim. The thing with Aldur was that he no longer held the same beliefs as his other fellow Thalmor. He had grown power hungry over the years and taking over the Dominion became his ultimate goal. He would hold more power then he ever could need but before doing so he would need to devise a way of doing so. This would be when the Dawnguard plotline would begin. He would hear about the vampire threat and join the blood drinkers in order to further his influence. There he would meet Serana and realize just how unstable the vampire world was and knew if he could control the Volkihar vampires he would be able to use this against the Dominion. Naturally he wouldn't expect for Serana herself to sway him the more he got to know her.
She would essentially be the reason why he would not become a tyrant after dealing with Harkon. The Dominion would still be his end goal but she would slowly prevent his reign of tyranny. There is a lot of work to do with this character but I do know that I would fully take advantage of Serana and write about her side of the story and such.
Pet Color and Species: Glacier Lasirus Minion: Treasure: Vampire items, Dark-themed items, bloody items
She would be tied in with my vampire character, Thren.
I am going to have to give a bit of backstory before I get into the character since you won't know what is what. Basically Serana is part of the world I created called Kratyr. She is part of a vampiric society that lives underground called Lyth. They specialize in blood magic and do not have the typical power that would come with being on the Surface. "Surfacers" have inherit magic that is fueled by their souls. Since vampires do not have souls they do not follow the same criteria and therefore are not affected by that magic. This is why they are immune to the effects of the toxic ore called netherspark that the Surfacers covet so much. Their race is essentially a mutated demon(the demons come from Valhalla) due to a curse from the god of death and disease named Izrael. Thren is the leader of the vamps although he does not consider himself a king.
Now onto Serana. She essentially becomes Thren's "queen" in the end of everything. Occassionally Surfacers would venture where they do not belong (Serana is sister to Salizar who is the king of Valhalla. The demons of Valhalla and vampires of Lyth hate each other so Serana is essentially an enemy to Lyth). Serana was one such woman and probably the most difficult to control so Xar, Thren's confidant had him deal with her personally. She was a weapon that Thren sought to use against Salizar but what he didn't know was that she held no love for her brother and had even less respect for their petty "war". Thren found her to be a challenge and ultimately sought to "break" her into becoming one of the women of his harem. Naturally she wasn't going to have any of that and proved resolute. He ended up turning her into a vampire but instead of her losing her wits, she remained strong. Demons did not go to Lyth. It was just how things were so Serana was not fully affected by his embrace. She would essentially rework his entire court system and make her the only one for him. They would have a daughter together named Lailah. Unfortunately Serana would eventually wind up being beaten at her own game by the other females of the court. Her death would be a mystery to Thren but it would mark a huge change in the vampire kingdom and ultimately lead to it's collapse.
If you have any questions about either concept feel free to let me know. I am pretty sure I would go with my original concept for her since I have some artwork I am working of her and Thren at the moment and I think it would be a beautiful look-up for her page.
: Hi, there! :) I noticed people are submitting apps for the pets they'd like and I realized I didn't do that, and what with still being interested in Yvaine, I thought I probably should do that also so I wouldn't be remiss and lose an opportunity. I've never done an app before, so apologies if this is all wrong and rubbish.
As of now, I don't have all the fine points of a backstory or anything worked out yet, but according to several baby names sites, Yvaine means "evening star" and I've been looking for a night/evening/starry name to pair up with my pet Aurore ("dawn") to do a point-counterpoint/opposites thing with. Also, Yvaine is just a really beautiful name, and if it matters any, I've read Gaiman's "Stardust" and have also seen the film (which is criminally underrated, btw), so there's that aspect of a potential fan pet if nothing else, too.
Thanks for reading. Cheers! :D

Hi! If you're still interested in her, please let me know! <3
And on that note - Yvaine doesn't mean "evening star" in all likelihood ^^; She is a character in Stardust so that's what it might mean in that book's fictional language, I am not too familiar with the story or movie, or simply using in relation to stars because of the book's title/the fact the character is a star. Yvaine is, however, very similiar to Yvain, which is a form of the name used by a French poet in the 12th century of the Welsh figure Owain, who's name mean means either "youth" in Welsh (or is a Welsh form of Eugene, which means "well born") and is a name of several Welsh figures, including a knight of the round table. Alternatively, Yvaine can be a combination of the names Yvonne and Elaine. Uh... sorry about the text block LOL I just really love name etymology XD It is a very ethereal-sounding name, though, so I still think she'd work well being paired with Aurore :) (especially since they would both have that French element)
: Well, TIL! :) I love etymology as well, so thanks for the correction and the information. Names are generally fascinating, but I have to say the possible history behind this one is especially so!
Yes, I'm still very interested in Yvaine, I think she'll work well with Aurore, too. Thanks! ❤

I would be very interested in Katarina.
SPOILER (click to toggle)
I think the name is gorgeous. I do not do fancy profiles or stories, but I train and read and feed to my pets. I was lucky enough to be chosen to adopt Agron recently and he has gone from less than four hundred INT to 1,114 (his other stats were already massive, I take no credit on those). I'm working on getting him on the Book High Score List. All my other permies are on it. (Chiana, History, Brute, Pepsi, Jeminigh, Mephisto, Frack and Frick) Strangely, sometimes Frick or Frack do not show up, even though book count wise they should - and sometimes, like now, they do. I'm not sure why. Katarina would be name-switched with Pepsi in my line up (and I already have a home for that name, as long as the user is still active). I will be changing her color from Blacklight Torrey into one of four things if chosen - an Angelic Legeica, Harvest Feli, Sweetheart Yaherra or Glacier Neela.
Most of my other pets are being held for friends or else they are pound fosters that I am reading to and training up to eventually adopt out. I have been on the site for nine years and intend to stay until they put a bootprint on my butt.
Thank you for your consideration. Please let me know if there is any other information I can provide.
