I know a lot of people avoid playing games here on Subeta and would rather quest... but even still it would be nice to see some games get more love and have new prizes added to their pools or have a pool started. A month dedicated to all things game would be cool... I know that's pushing things but I'll just toss that out there for the moment. As for games I'd like to see get prizes/new prizes... well:
Random: We got the Oddtu items added, a while ago but seeing new stuff added would be cool. Perhaps more unique question mark themed items and such.
Slots: It got a facelift and that's great but seeing a few more prizes added would be nice too. Maybe even have a higher betting rate. Nothing over the top but maybe 100-500sP options. Up to staff to decide in the end.
Mind Reader: This game got love once and then that was it... Plus the NPC running it could use a tweak in the art as well. Maybe some items based around him would be nice?
That's all I have for the time being. Perhaps other people have suggestions they can add here? :)
I like this idea. It doesn't even need to be brand new themed items, I think this would be a great way to get some old trivia prizes into the site too.
Yes that works too. There's lots of items on site that can fit into each game too. c: Thanks for that add on
This would be such a incentive for new and old players to actually play the games. Super support!
Whenever games are improved users complain bitterly that their own favorite thing is no longer in as privileged position as it once was. This is going to start a whole new round of that. Games in Subeta are not broken.
Trivia prizes have outlets via Crystal Shop and CS Hustler already.
No matter what happens or does not happen, there will most likely be someone, somewhere, complaining. The people you mention are a small minority of long-time users and what they want (to be the big fish in the little pond) is seldom what is best for the longterm health of the site. Besides, potential gripes is no reason to avoid doing something. I know. I speak from experience. Many of the 'tique revamps made my valuable, much loved wears unbearable to look at -- let alone wear any more -- and when I went to sell them, I discovered the market for them had collapsed. So I clearly wasn't the only user who didn't appreciate the updates.
My point is, our possible disappointment or loss of value is no reason for the site to NOT do something. It has to keep changing to grow and keep attracting new users.
Well said! I've been here nearly 13 years, and I'm tired of seeing old users screech about how they won't be specially special if X is rereleased. Get over it - you've had years to exalt in your specialness or to sell that rare item!
