Is it possible to make it so we can buy multiple tickets of a certain potion at once?
For example, buying 5 tickets for the Reborn potion at once instead of having to scroll down to select each single ticket one-by-one 5 times. And in order to prevent overpurchasing(?) or flooding of ticket purchases, maybe the tickets could be offered in specific multiples? So if you can only purchase 5 tickets for one potion at a time, you'd have to scroll down to select the potion 5 times in order to buy 25 tickets (instead of purchasing 25 individual tickets.
Sorry if this has already been suggested before!
the brainstorming subforum is only for staff to make threads on. I'm going to go ahead and move this :)
Oh no, I'm sorry! Thanks for clearing that up :)
I support anything that requires less clicking.

Honestly the lottery is already too easy, it doesn't need anything more to make it easier... If you want quick tickets buy the mega one, otherwise you'll have to do a little effort
Being able to buy 5 at a time sounds good enough. A bit less clicking, without making it too easy to buy lots of tickets. I don't think there should be higher multiples offered.
Let's make it a bit of an sP sink as well. 500 sP for a single ticket? Increase the price for the convenience of buying multiples. 5,000 sP for 5 tickets. Maybe even higher than that.
I don't know how it is too easy, I suggested this because it seems difficult to me :o
Thanks for your feedback, an sP sink seems pretty clever
The only time I won I spent 20m in mega tickets (and got ~12m back from selling the potion). Some users know how the system works and can win whenever they want. That sounds easy to me, since we are talking about a lottery. >_< If you don't want to invest or try to figure out the system, then it's just a regular lottery, buy tickets and maybe you will win.
Given the current five-second delay on purchasing tickets, I assume the process is meant to be slow and tedious; possibly to discourage the same handful of rich users hogging the lottery on a frequent basis.
I also agree that it isn't exactly difficult right now, even without having 'figured out the system' (there's a system??? I for one thought it was a case of "buy loads of tickets, preferably on a day nobody else is buying many; hope for the best"). The one time I made a half-serious effort at winning, I succeeded, and it didn't cost anything like the amount of cash I'd expected to have to spend.
So I think if anything like this were implemented, it would have to come with some extra restrictions, 'cause while less clicking is definitely good it shouldn't make the lottery significantly easier to win than it already is. For one thing, I'd have it available for MegaTickets only (means people don't use it to target only the most valuable potions, makes it a more effective money sink). And with an added time delay that makes it at least as slow, if not slower, than it would be to those tickets individually (e.g. buy five MegaTickets once per minute, or ten every five minutes).
I don't think there's a system. iirc the user(s) that win often just buy a (large), set number of tickets every day so their names pop up a lot.
Anyway, I support this since the mega ticket doesn't actually help at all if you're only going for one specific potion, hence the desire to buy multiples of that type.
No Support.
I don't think Subeta is big enough to have both a large enough userbase and a large enough percentage of the userbase interested in the potion lottery at the same time. Especially considering how valuable the prize is compared to the ticket cost. Want that nice beautiful oh so sellable prize?
Work for it.
- I would think they would be more concerned about it being an sP sink then someone monopolizing the winnings. They could also implement a cool down time between lottery wins.
I don't know how much money the lottery is pulling out of the system, but there are checks and balances that can be put in place (weekly lottery, cool down times, etc.).
