...the shortest yet most involved, activity-and-concentration-needing holiday had to come in a week where I, for some unknown reason, was struck down with apathy and ennui to the point where I struggled to get out of bed. Let alone sit and randomly jump around the site looking for flowers (which seemed to avoid me) and do quests (which gave me flowers roughly 1/3 of the time). Looks like I'll have to dig into my savings and buy the coins I need. muttergrumblesigh

oof, I feel ya. Not /as/ bad, but I had the same deal for BOTH survival and masquerade. The pain is real.

I hear you. For some reason this usually strikes me around Masquerade or the Valentines events.

I was fine for this event - thankfully because in addition to the coins for the shop, I was madly working on building all the bouquets.

But, yeah, I felt that way for masquerade this year. Fortunately I had plenty of trinkets stashed from previous years so other than reducing my stash my ennui didn't really affect anything.
