According to my achievements I've done 528 quests for Carl and he's not once fallen asleep on me yet or handed out any of these awesome bonus prizes/sp I keep hearing about.

I've asked in the Shoutbox a few times about it and been told it's completely random with him but having done 528 quests with him now, it can't be that random, right?

Anyone have any ideas?

Edit: just had another look through my achievements and apparently I've completed a quest while Carl is asleep (as the box is green), so maybe it has happened and I haven't noticed? When I click on the achievement though, it's red and says 0/1, so I'm still pretty confused tbh.

I get a sleeping Carl at least once a day. It seems weird that you don't get them. Regular and sleeping Carl look identical, the picture doesn't change, only thing is the text.

A regular Carl reward has this text:

Finished Drunk Carl's Quest!

Hearty thanks, mate. Here, have a trinket from me many travels! (amount) sP AND (item reward)

a sleeping carl reward has this text:

Finished Drunk Carl's Quest!

Wow, it looks like that was some good stuff you brought Carl. He's passed out! You decide to reach into his pockets and pay yourself.

The reward isn't always going to be noticeably fantastical like a multi-million sP item. In this case I got and about 40k. Keep an eye out!
