It's the first time I'm doing this! My design is almost ready!

I was planned to draw a mermaid everyday, but I've only got one so far ;;

I've been doing the MerMay challenge! I haven't posted any on Subeta because most of them have exposed breasts, though. Working on those breast physics. :p

I'm using MerMay to do some value studies and focus on improving composition. I think otherwise I wouldn't really be able to push myself to do 31 of the darn things. If you want to check out what I mean, I've got them uploaded on my dA.

Don't worry! It's not too late. :) If you get a couple days where you have extra time, maybe you could draw more than one? Then you'd be caught up by the end of the month.

What are you doing for MerMay?

For my pet Nixe I wanted something between a kelpie and a nymph. So I did a centaur/kelpie thing :D Human upper body with the body of a hippocampus. I messed up my drawing in pencil but I was planning on tracing it with my tablet anyway.

I drew three more today ^ ^ just as you said, I'm planning to catch up. I will probably draw 31 animal-mermaid lol, a mermaid with dog head something like that, cuz I'm not going to draw 31 regular mermaid, I don't have the patience for that ：P
