Item Location Wardrobe Drawer

I want to discuss the Item Location wardrobe drawer today... You know, that one drawer, that currently only serves to take up space in the wardrobe navigation? Yeah, that one.

So this was added to the Wardrobe back in December, when Keith held his unofficial Luminaire HA contest (which required users to only use old Melody items in an outfit.) The drop down was incredibly handy, as one could imagine.

However, after the New Year, the feature was never altered or removed. In its current form, it's basically just wasted space- I mean, how often are people that concerned with filtering for Melody items?

So, a proposal. Let's keep the drop down, and turn it into something useful and usable! The dropdown is similar to Drawers in essence, but the key difference is that it factors in all Subetan items, and not just the ones you own. I can see that being incredibly useful if the options were expanded!

You could sort by specifically Cash Shop items (and perhaps expanding it to Retired and Active CS item sections.) Doing a separate search that includes everything in the Costume Trunks could be really nice! Or be able to search specifically for Subeautique lines (since there are so, so many names on those.) Maybe battle loot alongside items that are also weapons? (I'm not sure I'd use it, but it could be interesting.) There could be holiday-specific sections to match the Melody one. (So, everything in the Menagerie and Migrating Masks for Masq, and everything ever given out during Morostide in another.)

Now, you might be asking if this is really necessary, but I truly view this as an opportunity to find lesser used items. I don't have encyclopedic knowledge of the wearables on site, but I do know many. And after so many years, I've gotten reasonably good at playing the keyword game (like, if I'm looking for gold, I'll try Citrine, Sun/Solar, Bronze, Brass, etc.)

However, as many know, not all items fall neatly into categories. Hell, not all Boutique collections are named Delish, and not all Costume Trunks share an unique identifying word.

More Examples

(It took me 3 minutes to find these examples, but only because I own them, and had previously sorted them into categories due to their weird and difficult to find names. But you try searching nearly 3000 face items for the mouth titled "Memory from a Happy Summer".)

Having the drawers won't fix the problem completely by any means. But maybe it'll help!

Another Example

All of these items came out during the latest Masq, and are otherwise the same outside of color. However, the naming scheme is terrible. You have 3 "Card" and 2 "Pass". There are no distinguishing unique words that could can use to search (a la "Pearled * Chain"). If you don't have these sorted in a custom drawer or something, then good luck finding them in the future.

Likewise, if you're trying to do general keyword searches, you're unlikely to find these particular items. (They could've included "frizz" or "parted" or something circuitry related, but alas.)

The benefits of having them located in their own Masq specific drawer is that they're less likely to be forgotten. Someone has a lot of trinkets, and is looking for a good wig to use - "hey, try these!"

Or, you know, the drop down could simply be removed. That'd work too.
