I pinged because you had a desert/tropics theme and I thought "Madagascar" would fit in nicely. It is a place in Africa, after all XD

All I can think of when I see him is that annoying King Julien from the movie. XD

I do have a tropical area of my fictional land, but I think I've always pictured it more as South Americanish than Africanish. And dinosaurs. Never really thought about it before. :)
