As you can see, I have blue, green, and purple dice showing. That should mean that "Cool Colors" would give me points, right? So... why isn't it offering points for that combination?

I've played a few games now, and it seems to offer me one combo per game; I was able to select Secondary Colors earlier, but also rolled Primary Colors and was not given that option. All combos after the first simply aren't offered. And even if I have the required dice showing, selecting a combo when it's not offered gives me 0 points.

I think ALL your dice showing have to be of those colors, so any combination of blue/purple/green would give you the points for cool colors, but since you also have red and orange, it doesn't count. [edit] Yeah, that's it. It's on the "How to play" that for some reason only shows up if you're not already in a game
