I don't know if its a feasible thing, but if it is I would appreciate it.

There are so many limited number, exclusive, friends only, one time deal, etc. You find something you might like only to discover its not available. This happens with the vast majority of items, the frustration just isn't worth the tiny chance that it might actually be buyable. Its one of the major things that keeps me completely out of the CW market.

I LOVE this idea. I literally just ran into this issue earlier last week; I was exploring the wardrobe, making beautiful HA ideas with things I don't own yet, only to be disappointed when I found out that half of the items I used, I can't even buy T-T

Is this regarding CW shops only, or user shops too? The items available in user shops for CWs tend to change pretty frequently, and finding out that an item you might be interested is for sale may or may not even be useful for a CW unless you're planning to buy it immediately. And it doesn't really tell you whether or not a CW is going to be easy to find later on or not, just because you happened to catch one for sale at the time you were looking. There's really no easy way to tell that unless you do some digging and/or ask around.

That said, I could still see this being kind of useful as long as it's not a big server strain. I don't think I'd ever use it though

No support for me. We can hover over whichever item we would like to search and simply click 'search shop'. We have a lot of forums where people can tell you if said CW is private/public etc. And they are pretty active. The wardrobe is already cluttered enough as it is and I'm afraid it will just add more clutter and server strain.
