Obviously this thread will have spoilers, I just wanted to know what you guys thought! I just got back from seeing it myself and my mind has been blown entirely, holy crap! How do we even cope with this???
I saw it this morning and just, wow. I was blown away. The movie was phenomenal.

I laughed so hard at everything Drax said, I swear his character is just comedy gold! And he's such a sweetheart :)
But omg yes, I cried when Spiderman fading away. You can tell he was terrified, and Tony couldn't do anything to stop it :( all of the tears!

Yeah omg I was holding onto my fiances arm for dear life! Idk if you've watched Doctor Who, but it reminded me of when the 10th doctor died. Just sooooo sad.

I noticed some people posting memes with the caption "me after watching infinity war and finally understanding the spoilers without context"ahaha. I'm still glad I saw the movie before seeing them around because I just know I'd be sitting in the theater wondering what all those pictures meant and looking for their references.

Was it seriously improvised? Oh my gosh it really made the scene powerful. Especially since he's just a kid. Now that I think about it, I still need to get around to watching Spiderman: Homecoming! I bought the DVD during a Black Friday sale last year so maybe I'll watch it this weekend.
Idk I keep calling Star-Lord 'Wyatt' instead of 'Peter Quill' for whatever reason xD AND THANK YOU. I was trying to think so hard of the show Chris Pratt was on (I actually haven't seen it before). I saw one of those spoilers without context of him from Parks & Rec with the caption "My bad" lol.

Homecoming was good! I loved Tom Holland as Spider-Man, he's a really good one! He's funny, charming and cute so he's really great! Didn't care too much about the story though >.< Worth watching though!
Well Leslie's husband in Parks and Rec is Ben Wyatt? Maybe it's something to do with that :P Heheheh you're welcome ;) He was just supposed to be a guest star in the first season but they loved him so much they had to keep him on!
LOL yes! Although Dr. Strange did say that 'this is the endgame' and 'this was the only way' after seeing 14mil+ possibilities so I think Peter going ape shit on Thanos' head was supposed to happen?? But like, I have no idea how they can get back from this at all. Usually I can make some things up but I can't think of anything!

Ahhh I would've lost it if Iron Man died since he's one of my favorites. And aha, no I meant to say that I was referring to his character Peter as a "kid" since he is still in school (high school, right?)
But I like Tom Holland for SpiderMan, too! Bummer to hear that about the story though.
I know, it's really weird that this is the only way. My husband and I tried hypothesizing some ideas but we ended up turning them all down due to one reason or another. I can only guess it'll have something to do with the Time Stone buuut I'd think Thanos would still have the stones and gauntlet even if they did go back in time. I've no idea, I'm just anxious to see some sort of resolution!
I wish I had seen Thor Ragnarok before seeing this movie! I didn't get to watch that, any of the newer Spiderman movies, or Guardians of the Galaxy 2 yet.

It was kinda odd that Scarlet Witch fell in love with a robot, no? He was far more human in this movie than I remember him, and it looks like he's developed into a human character through his AI.
I wish we could trade out Black Widow for Scarlet Witch - I want to see more of her! And, I'm just waiting for Loki to come back in the next movie.

Hahahah I kind of love to hate him if that makes sense?? I don't hate him though, I just think he's a bit of a dick. He makes me laugh though and he does do some awesome stuff! But I still would've been upset if he died :(
Oh LOL yeah I think he's like 14?? When even is Homecoming in the US anyway? I'm from the UK so I have no idea what Homecoming actually is :p
Yeah me and my fiance thought the same! Like Dr Strange said outright that he would never give up the Time Stone in exchange for Tony's or even Peter's life, so we must be right with this theory! It's just mind boggling, I can't wait for the next movie... I NEED to know!
I really really enjoyed the movie. It had the right amount of comedy and it turned dark at an appropriate time. To me it was far better than the most recent Thor, which my gripe with that movie was it was way WAYYYY too upbeat for the events that occurred in the movie. I think Infinity Wars did a great job balancing the hokey/joking bits with the serious bits.

One thing that absolutely grinds my gears is when people say something like "well there's a second movie so you know everyone will return!! Why are you getting worked up over it"
For one, some of the deaths would seem permanent. There were deaths that occurred before the infinity gauntlet was used. Second, LET ME HAVE MY FEELS. That is the point of the movie, to enjoy it. Not everyone has read the comics. Not only that, but the story line doesn't follow the comics to a T anyways. ajhgakjgkasndfg
I don't know if you've noticed but one thing I love about Marvel now is that they put things in previews now that aren't actually in the movie as to avoid giving out the real plots and scenes in movies. Like the one picture where it had all of the heros running through the forest. That never happened in the movie and contained a character we never saw in the movie. So that's cool IMO. Much harder for things to be spoiled by others prior to release.

thor and bruce had some really gay moments and i liked that a whole lot
I liked it a lot, such a great movie and so well put together and I cried several times which I hoped wouldn't happen but did T-T
