15% discount buff overriding my 20% discount card

When I get that buff, I suddenly start getting only 15% off of the purchases in the NPC shops instead of the usual 20% from the discount card in my inventory. Is there a way to turn off that buff or am I misunderstanding how it works? Thanks!
Both should work.
It should say for example: I see you have a discount card! I'll give you a discounted price of 339 sP! Vanilla Strawberry Sandwich Cookie has been added to your inventory. Your main shop discount buff gave you 15% (75 sP) off the main price!
A lot of people don't see the original discount cause the 15% buff shows in green but it is there in the first line. Can you check for me and make sure this is the case?

My apologies...I checked it and actually did the math again and yes, that is exactly what it is doing.
I could have sworn the math wasn't adding up yesterday!! I have no idea where my brain was.
But yes - it takes the 20% off first and then the 15%. Thank you! :)
