Other than that, I'm not sure what you're looking for exactly without knowing more about the character. If they're nomadic, is there a specific way that they traveled or something you had in mind for a means of survival? If their story isn't AU, maybe what country/countries they're residing in or what religion they practice?

I'd argue that you not call them that word, since g*psy is considered a slur to the Romani people. Honestly, don't build their TC around that label; build it around their character and who they are.
