Does anyone one find that the bumbus queen random event (the one that lets you turn a pet into a bumbus) is becoming less frequently than before? Or is it just me? I used to get at least one quest per month, but now, none for at least 4 months. Or is it that I need to do or have certain things/pets/blue building points to be able to get the quest?

it's a whole heckuva lot more rare. I deliberately went to the queen and rejected my always-standing invitation to convert to see just how long it would take to get re-invited about six months ago. I'm still Not Worthy. I did this was when we last got a new user here in Help & Questions wondering impatiently when they would get theirs.

Most of us were all "eh, this happens always and forever, be a little patient" so I wanted to know how patient. It appears that the Bumbus Queen was reading that and was all miffed or something, or maybe the same thing that made Merana Quests not appear on the Subeta Map for six months is now happening to her?

Anyways Vesnali is coming up with tons of flowers being handed around. Maybe all that pollen will get her minions to come out again. Or someone needs to write a post in Problems & Bugs. Is anyone else not getting this RE?

I'm pretty sure you get the quest regardless of blue building status, but yeah I've noticed I haven't gotten it for a while either.

I've noticed that REs, rather than totally random, seem to come in clumps. Like I won't get an oracle quest for months, then suddenly get three in a row.

Yes that's right, we do get folks asking in here about the RE wondering why it takes them to the Blue Building page when they don't have access, so the appearance of the RE has nothing to do with whether you can go to Floor 7. The actual RE? It's random.

I thought it was just me with the clumps, but apparently not. Separately, the randomizer for the REs may have a problem.

Thanks, guy! As long as it's not just me, I guess I'm fine. Maybe during vesnali, the queen will start to find people worthy again.
