Some may have known me as Zombie since the first day the site went live but after a hiatus I returned to a new name of Zombie_503. As cool as it may have been to briefly have numbers in my name its not something I really desired so after debating it

Part of me made this thread to also let all my friends know about it so they don't go " who da eff is dat. " and boot me from the cool kid club called their friends lists.

I actually gave Dante a name-change too (and make-over). "Redric" was semi-inspired by the book Roadside Picnic that features a character by the name of Redrick. The book is about an area on earth containing alien waste from a former "visit" and I figured an "experiment" pet kind of fit that theme.

Ohh nice glad everyone's getting a nice clean fresh start from the ashes of my Zombie days. Also recolored and named some of my pets as well. and working on a profile so this is a fun redo. Id love to be kept up to date with the former dante's progress as well. hope he battles well for you once hes out of 'quarantine' mode.

Congrats and welcome back! It took my pre-coffee brain a minute to realize who pinged me...and I'm glad I'm not the only one who has issues spelling things when really tired.

In case you missed it: we may have accidentally freed Merana from her prison in 2016 ^^; So....yeah. She shows up on the explore page periodically so she can make our pets into her watery minions..if we want her to.

Nope. I cant spell when awake but at least I get close enough for spell check. when sleepy i apparently use a real but wrong word so spellcheck cant help my hopeless tired butt. XD i remember that. I've been off and on the past few years but I could have sworn that even when i was active hydrus pets were a thing. XD

My real world nickname is Ren and I'm the person all my friends screamed for when a spider, wasp or bug was in their dorm room etc. So its an endearing nickname some use for me. XD (i say endearing since everyone who knows me knows i LOVE insects to the point I'm hoping to return to school to study Entomology.

SHAME! How dare you call your pun bad. All puns are beautiful and wonderfull! I've made a full page note to a friend who was upset in almost nothing but water puns. the waterworks changed from bad to good as they were crying from laughter. Glad that ending got you a chuckle XD

What a great nickname story! I was kind of that person in my friend group as well. I never liked hurting spiders or other bugs, so I'd always get a cup and try and catch it and put it outside.

It's really fascinating to me too seeing how people pick their usernames. I ended up picking mine because I feel like I'm kind of a boring person in real life, but I come to life when I'm writing. Hence, I'm a "proxy" for my stories/characters. ^^ Anyways sorry for the tangent, I just love hearing about people's names

Though I have a character named Ren so now it's going to be a bit weird if I ever show you my writing lol

Happy to be back. I forgot how much I loved this place but with family deaths, a new nephew and a loooot of other life things I forgot completely this place even existed. Just a shame I forgot just long enough to loose my name and pet names by a few days XD
