Can it happen?

And just to prevent cheating/spamming there can be a certain time "cool down" between the posts.. (like 1 hour?)

It's just many times we have a new subject to talk about and we lose each other in the edits, pinging the group again, it's bit messy..

As far as I know, you're allowed to double post if you're an admin of the group.

true! but I don't think it's correct to make everyone Admins, also can be risky if there is a fight, someone is angry etc..

I feel that this could possibly be solved by having more "staff" ranks in forum groups. Owner, co-owner, admin, banker, moderator, mini-mod, trusted user, or something along those lines.

That way, you'd be able to assign someone trusted user, or mini-mod status and let them double-post without giving them the ability to delete, or edit other people's posts, entire forum topics and entire forums.

I still feel that forum group posts shouldn't count toward your post count, though. :X

Another thing, in some of the groups I belong to, you might have a conversation, and then its over. Now if you happen to be the last person to post to that conversation, and week later, or even a few days later you need to bring up another issue, then you can't post. It can be very annoying if your group has specific threads you need to post to.

I do like the idea of having ranks so you can specifically give people the ability to double post without added powers.
