When and I first put this group together, I never thought it would take off as well as it did. I expected maybe 30 people at most to join. I never imagined that 3 years later we would have 300 members. This group has brought together so much more friendship, camaraderie and creativity than I ever could have imagined. It's been such a joy to see Hogwarts and the rest of the Wizarding World come to life. All of the efforts of our members have brought life to the magic that we all hold so dear.

With that said, it is with a heavy heart that I must announce my resignation as owner of the group. I had hoped that my real life situation would improve and that I would be able to dedicate more time to the group than I have over the past 6 months, but it does not appear to be the case. I've found myself in a situation I haven't had in over 10 years... one where I am unable to play Subeta for more than a few minutes here and there. I knew when I started this journey that there would be a day that I would not be able to carry on in the group, but I had hoped it would be much later, and that I wouldn't be letting down as many people as I am today.

Don't worry! Wizarding will continue on. I am leaving you in the very capable hands of . Her heart is as much in this as mine has been. She's been here since the beginning, and I am eternally grateful for her support over the years. I am confident that she will keep the spirit of the group alive, along with our Head Girls/Boys and Prefects.

Not only am I grateful for the support of , and our past and present Head Girls and Prefects, but I am grateful for yours as well. There would be no Wizarding without any of you. I hope that one day there will be a time in the near future where I am able to rejoin you all in the fun, but perhaps this time as a student. Until then, I wish you all the best and thank you all.

Thank you for all your dedication to the group. You and Griffindor have created a wonderful place for us to play. I look forward to seeing you back when real-life gives you more time to play. Until then take care, and keep in touch when you can.

Oh, I know just what you mean about something taking off beyond anything you dreamed, and what it must have cost you to post this. Just know how much you mean to everyone and how much your dedication is appreciated.

Sorry to see you go. I joined half a year ago, took a 3 month hiatus, and forgot to submit my student profile so I never got to do a lot with this community.
It must've taken some time you didn't have to post this so thank you for sharing. Hopefully your real life situation improves and you find the time to return.
