I can't speak for everyone, but I at least have been having trouble with the only two actual "closed eyes" items I know of on the site.

Both of these items include eyebrows, and to boot the expression they provide is usually not what I'm looking for. I often find that I'd like to be able to use these with different eyebrows, but since they're all positioned in much the same place it makes layering tricks (outside of going really anime and putting new eyebrows on top of the hair) not really all that plausible.

The one argument I could see against making an item like this is that perhaps it isn't much of an item. It'd be little more than a black line or two strategically placed on the face. In case anyone else is having the same concern, I'd like to point out that eyebrow items like "Wrinkle Cream" are the same way, but they've gotten no particular shortage of coverage. On the flipside, I know plenty of people have used eyelash items to mimic closed eyes, but due to the portioning and angles of these items it's usually very obvious what they were intended for. It's just something I can't bring myself to do.

I love closed eye expressions, and would really appreciate some more versatile closed eye items.

full support! every once in a while i forget that the defective lash doesn't work under my cream cake and run into a kind of ugly ghost-eyebrow when i try to use them as eyelashes.

I also 100% support! I actually was just thinking about this yesterday in my wardrobe, trying to use those two closed-eye items to achieve something in particular, but wasn't working. There was an eyebrow item that would have been perfect, but thanks to the pre-existing eyebrows on them it just couldn't work.

There are the which work as closed eyes (which you mentioned), but they don't work with every outfit since they have a blue tint and they're pretty low down. I support getting some variation!
