Ok, first off can I just say I absolutely love the dog (wolf) zapper skin.... but there's one bit that makes it surprisingly challenging to deal with. When you try to use any high-leg items, like the Icy Toy Boat Fabric, the crotch of the item is a lot higher than the HA's base.

It's even more obvious with the White Uncomfortably Short Shorts I know they are meant to be "uncomfortably short" but these would be impossible to put on with the HA's crotch that low :P

If you put a regular human HA next to the zapper one, you can see what I mean.... I drew a line matching up the chin and feet - allowing for a bit of fur, that lines up perfectly. But the crotch on the dog zapper skin is a heck of a lot lower than the human one. Now ok, we could explain that away by saying that the dog zapper skin has shorter legs than a human(!) but it does make a lot of the styles (CW and non-CW) just look plain wrong, and could really benefit from a little change just to get them to line up properly (pretty please?!)

I think it's got a lot to do with the lack of line showing the HA's left leg going marginally in front of the right on the dog zapper skin. The regular human skin (and most of the other zapper skins) have that line, so the crotch appears to be in the right place for the clothing. I did a very very very rough mockup (literally copy and paste) for what it would look like with that line.... original on the left, mockup on the right ....and suddenly the HA's legs look (near enough) the right length ;) So hopefully this might not be too complex to get tweaked please? :D

[edit] As pointed out by and the Nostalgic skin has a similar problem - the crotch lines up with that of the dog zapper skin rather than the regular HA one. I will admit that one looks like it would be a lot more challenging (maybe impossible?) to resolve, given the style of that particular zapper skin.

I don't use this skin very often, but it would make sense for this to be fixed if possible. It does make some of those shorts look really odd or just straight up impossible to wear because of this issue.

I'd be happy to see this fixed for those that use it. :) I'm sure it would be a helluva lot easier and more fun if it looked right with bottoms

They may have meant the Nostalgic one (which is also a zapper skin), but I'm not sure because I haven't checked it myself either.

[edit]Yeah, definitely the Nostalgic one has weird issues as well because of how the legs come together, the crotch area is kind of messed up like the Dog skin.

I support this, too! If some tweaking could be done to make those skins more usable with all clothing, that would be great. :-)

I've never used these two skins, but it would be nice if they were inline with the other ones. Using the skins shouldn't mess too much with the ability to use clothing in an unfortunate area like that. Dogs and dolls deserve to wear the shortest of shorts too. haha.

Oh wow, yeah, I hope that gets fixed! I guess it was supposed to be fluffy but it just looks awkward. :p

The new vintage swimsuits look great on most HAs, but on the dog and nostalgic zapper skins, they just look.... impossible I think would be the best description, given where the 'underpant' part ends up!

High-leg bottoms have been a problem with these zapper skins since the skins were released, but I'm hopeful that our talented artists might be able to tweak the bases so they can join in with the high-leg trend, and not have to be unfashionable forever ;)

Zapperskins are zapper skins, and should be weird because it's Mad Science. They are a fullbody mod where you pays yer munny and you takes yer chances. Not everybody likes all the zapperskins they got and it just so happens that the posters above don't like these two.

I don't like this Suggestion because it will limit what weird and wonderful new zapperskins may come out just because some folks want to put all clothes on all skins. The zombieskins are way the heck weirder than these.

We're not asking for them to cut back on weird or creative skins. I know that some of the zombie skins have tentacles or other stuff sprouting out of them that make it hard to wear clothing too. But that's because the entire skin is like that and not just one little part.

I think the Dog and Nostalgic skins were clearly meant to be closer to the default base in form since they're not too wild. It's just the crotch area that has issues, and I don't think it would be too difficult for an artist to fix it up a bit.

Man, I meant to comment on this back when it was first posted. I don't know how it happened! I guess I figured as long as I kept the silhouette the line placement didn't matter as much? It really shouldn't be a tough fix. :)

Erm, I actually love using the dog zapper skin - it's the only zapper skin I use (I change between two different OC characters for my HAs). I just don't see why it would be so bad for a little usability tweak (as it's an easier fix than the Nostalgic one, which admittedly has a more unique style which would make it challenging to use for 'all clothes' - maybe the Nostalgic needs to be kept as it is?).

I see nothing wrong with making a few tweaks to the skins there, since people do like using them, even with clothing sometimes as well. So full support for tweaking them.

And even then, the crotch is in the right spot.
