Regarding Balloon Sweeper, the numbers on the balloons are super small and way too hard to read. The background being a little too dark may contribute to this problem, but I think some of it also has to do with the popped balloon graphic behind each number and the slanting of each number.
On the other hand, Subeku is almost too large. I noticed that a certain social media platform's version of Sudoku highlights every instance of a number on the board if you click it, but that might take away from the difficulty of trying to find every number on the board that the creators want to preserve in Subeku. Personally, I find it dizzying, and it robs Subeku of a lot of its fun to not have a similar highlighting feature.
I really love both games, but both of them put a lot of strain on my eyes for those reasons.
I agree with the balloon sweeper game. I don't play it because I can't figure out the numbers without a lot of work. It means a game that should be fairly simple, quick and fun to play becomes a pain instead.
For Subeku, I do it play it frequently, but I usually reduce the magnification on my browser. I don't actually mind having to do that. One problem with increasing magnification for games, like balloon sweeper or Caliph's Tomb, is that it makes the games blurry and even HARDER to see. When you reduce magnification, though, like with Subeku, the image actually becomes clearer. So I wouldn't want the game size to be reduced.
As for highlighting the numbers, well I wouldn't use that, but if its a fairly simple thing to do I wouldn't be opposed either.

I just played both of these games with different magnifications on Chrome OS and Browser and they look fine and are easily playable to me.
The font in Balloon Sweeper really is bad. The 2 and 3 look almost identical at a glance. That said, the bigger problem for me has always been that popped balloons leave behind scraps that clutter the board and make it difficult to quickly count remaining balloons.

I just tried Balloon Sweeper on Hard, and it was really challenging to read the numbers without zooming in. Given that I'm using a large computer monitor, I really shouldn't have to zoom in to be able to play a game! If the font was changed to a more user-friendly (ie more readable) one, it would improve things immensely, and maybe the burst balloons could be slightly paler / semi-transparent, which might make the numbers easier to read too?

Please! This is part of why I stopped playing Balloon Sweeper (Along with it being ridiculously slow in my browser but I think that's a problem on my end)
I find Subeku to be fine for my browser/laptop, but agree Balloon Sweeper is a tad too small and the numbers can be difficult to read.
I have no problem with either game, but think it would be good if some adjustments could be made for people who are having trouble viewing them properly.
Subeku Am I the only one who can't use subeku on mobile - because there's no way to imput numbers? Could we have a clickable "keyboard" within the game. Just need 1-9. I'd love to play this when in the car or at work during down time but I can't.
The size of this game is fine.. it's big like that so that you can clearly read any notes you add.
balloon sweeper I too find the size way too small as well. I stopped playing after I kept accidentally clicking the wrong balloons on the hardest setting.
I zoom to 150% for balloon sweeper when I normally keep the site at 90%. The sheer amount of visual clutter in addition to the tiny font size makes it hard to play. (And I love minesweeper in all shapes and forms, plus I'm really, really good at it.)
