I had a friend buy me VIP last month, and I renewed it this month - as well as buying expansions with LOTRO points (grinding grinding grinding those deeds) - it has made the game more fun/interesting. my Lore-master High Elf is now level 54 and has her legendary weapon. :) lemme know if you get back into it, I'd be happy to help level ya!
