Yeah, I need some advice for standard weapons, the handy things we always use... have ~500m to spend, so I can't really go out and buy a Trident of the Banished One :P

Before you look to buy weapons, I would recommend you buy a Terra Focujin or some sort of scroll that has healing on it.
When you look at buying weapons, it really depends on what opponents you want to focus on beating/what you're struggling with.
Stuff like would be useful against Saggi for example.
Some other notable weapons that are decent around that tier are , , and . But if you have a specific challenger in mind I could maybe suggest something different.
Of course there are better ones like or but yeah. Also I recommend getting a OPB freezer for your base set. Like the .
GRoBLEN has created the Terra Focujin Scroll successfully! I should have mentioned the opponents I'm currently struggling with, but you guessed correctly - Sagittarius is being a pain in the butt, so is Sandragon. I see that The Ether has less attack icons then the Pretty Big Tooth, per say. What makes it so good? (dont ask me how I made it to tier 11 without knowing anything)
The Ether has a lot better defense/slightly better heal, so it helps you stay alive longer. That weapon would actually also be good against Saggi because IIRC he does a lot of physical. For Saggi, I remember that he was very susceptible to blasting so I would use the OPB freezer first turn with w.e attacker, and then double blast, and hope that you get his healing weapons. Then whale on him with your attackers + healing scroll and hopefully you can overcome. Sanddragon does a lot of Water/wind I think, so pick weapons that have that type of defense if you can or try to blast the Monsoons.

BTW, I was mentioning that gorgun earlier and forgot that the helmet is also an OPB freezer. Woops.
Ah alright, that makes sense c: thank you so much for all the explaining and suggestions, I think i'll be able to put together a nice set with all this new info.
I feel like a jerk on top of being a day late and a dollar short, but Terra Focujin is kind of a downgrade from Aftershocks is most situations. Terra Focujin has a 10% heal and 4 nature damage Aftershocks is 7% heal, 7 nature, 5 physical, and 5 dark block, 6 magma, 10 nature, 6 physical damage.
If it's not blocking any of the right icons and you'd rather have the extra 3% heal you might select Terra Focujin over Aftershocks, but that's more or less it. It's a great scroll for smaller pets with less AP though, so if you have a smol battler or two it's worth having. Aside from that you might wish to add some high rate freezing scrolls- (Psycho Smasher you get from beating General Error, Cold Blast is a Genetech combo made from challenger loot, Shriek is randomly dropped by Nightlady, so you don't necessarily need to BUY them)
is also recommended as it gives a 1500 OPB heal that can't be stolen by jerks like General Error or Chase, but is mighty pricey. I've found it handy for challengers that either steal all your stuff or you're juuuuust on the cusp of beating but need a bit more heal than your weapons and infinite use scrolls can provide.
is a weapon that scales with speed and blocks ice and water which you might find useful (I think Sandragon does wind and water, maybe ice?) It's really cheap right now too.
I don't think realized that aftershocks has a heal on it. It's a smaller heal than terra, but the larger attack and defense makes it infinitely more useful imo. I second on the scrolls recommended. Some other good defensive scrolls are and
fatal fire can be one from cursed effigy, the tormented
are a nice entry level T11 weapon. should also be buyable in shops and is great for opponents like mama forj. You can also sell your duplicate (or wear it) when you win a syringe of your own.
is good for physical defense until you can afford a weapon like the ether. It also has the chance to protect for earth.
could be useful, but keep in mind it changes what it blocks as your strength increases
is a cheaper version of the trident and swash that scales with your pet. It won't be as powerful as either, but it's inexpensive and will block wind if you need it.
Thank you both! I noticed Terra wouldnt be really useful the first time I tried it, but I didn't spent a lot of sP to make and I'll gift to a friend who's in lower tier ^^'
I got the paintbrush blades, they are really a update, I can now kill Sandragon easily (unless he literally steals everything I own) - I spent a good chunk of sP on pet slots so I'll save up a bit before I get anything else I'm writing all this down so I know what weapons to use when I need to inflict/protect from each icon, you're awesome!
