I was hoping to see something for books your pets have read to help prevent buying duplicate books. Perhaps when you click on a book to buy, it takes you to a second page where you can see which of your pets haven't read that book yet (or, if all your pets have read it already, a message stating 'all pets have read this book') and then you can 'cancel' the purchase or continue to 'buy' that particular book. I like how the collections (cards, plushies, etc) let you see which ones you don't have and can go search shops for them. With the sheer number of books I figure that would be a bit much, but something to help prevent buying duplicates would be nice to have.

i support this - but an account search is pretty quick and efficient for me. i've started to go down the list on subetalodge, account search each one, buy what i can and wishlist what i can't afford yet. time consuming but ultimately i'll be able to have every book accounted for eventually.

No to this. It's adding an unnecessary extra step to buying items. If you're not sure whether or not you've already read a book to your pet, do an account search for it.

Instead, I'd suggest the list of books read for each pet has a "show missing" button, like beanbag and plushie collections already do. Then you can easily see the whole list of books they haven't read.

Another option available right now is to register at SubetaLodge and start a list for any pets you read to. You can check off books they've read, and they already have an option to see what books are missing. This does require you to update the list yourself to keep it accurate, of course.

I'm all for making reading easier, but this really doesn't sound good. If you tried to buy like this from Main Shops - some rarer books, I guarantee it would be sold out after you check. It would generally make restocking a nightmare. As for buying from user shops - account search does exactly what you need.

I'm with . No to this, but yes to a "show missing" button added to the books read pages.

For those who read to multiple pets, this would be a little cumbersome, but still a better option that slowing down the buying process (especially during quests!).

Show missing - Awesome

The original suggestion would be actively worse and would make buying books/collections even more cumbersome.

👍

Complete support for this. It would be an absolutely amazing feature for foods eaten/gourmand too!
