I was stalking an account for a petname. It was set to clear tomorrow, on the 27th of March.

I triple checked when I made the memo for myself, so I know it was definitely supposed to clear on the 27th, but it cleared today. :/

No, it wasn't. :c At least I have no information on it being resolved, and Bug has most likely gotten swamped with other work.

Apparently, this is still happening. I've been waiting for a name that was on a frozen account for months and months, it was to clear today at 3pm, I just got on a bit ago and went to check on the name and there is a new pet, new owner, all that jazz. I'm incredibly frustrated as this name is what I'm naming my daughter who is due soon. Extremely misleading when you're given a set time and that's not how it works.

So basically, some frozen accounts are clearing a day early and regular inactive accounts are sometimes clearing a day late.

I agree that it might be good to change the message for now, just so people have fair warning.

No worries! I know you're up to your eyeballs in work, so I'm hesitant to ping you several times to a problem thread you're already aware of. :'| I also know that you've tried to wrangle this issue before and I appreciate you looking into it again.

I'd be fine with a little heads-up like that profile message warning you mentioned. That would make it a lot more fair and people wouldn't be caught off guard.
