Hey!

Soo I like the general direction my character is going in, but it looks pretty boring right now. Does anyone have some ideas of how I could improve it?

I usually like to fit my customizable Characters to the play style I have on the site. Since the first thing I do here is to run through all my quests, run my shop, and then improve my pets, I've concluded that it's a hard-working character who does her best to rise up in the ranks and does whatever job comes her way. So as she's pretty low right now, the clothes are used and functional. I combine that with a punk-ish look just because it's what I like.

So while it's a female character, I think male-leaning clothing fits better, and things like makeup or something don't really fit a hard worker, even though I'd like more interesting eyes if they fit the idea~

So yeah I guess not the easiest theme, but it'd be great if you had some ideas :D

: You can still do makeup if you're a hard worker. Many women in more demanding careers benefit from applying make up. It makes them looks less tired, more on point, and like they've got their shit together. Even though many don't know how it can take to apply makeup and have a good hairdo, we all still feel the impact all the time had!

I've sent you a few items that might help you out. Items like are good eyes that have minimal make up on them. They can even pass as no makeup, since it's just thicker eyeliner and tweezed out eye brows. There are items like, that add to an overworked look. Being all red from allergies of a cold but still at work adds a layer or stress to everything. Which leads me back to makeup! There are plenty of eyes and makeup wearables that you can layer under regular eyes to make your avatar look more weathered and tired. Same with body glitters and freckles.

So much stuff, thank you so much! I have to check all that out, I'm pretty sure I can work with a lot of that!

I suggest layering over one of these three paints, , behind the science lab item you have.

However, a cheaper alternative is using any of these and putting a scenery background behind your science lab scene.

Ooh, that does look a lot better :D I'm actually looking for some kind of city background though, something like but I need to save up for it, or something brighter and city-er~
