Tutorial unfinishable?

I am at https://subeta.net/tutorial.php (step "Feed your pet").
I have 3 pets, all fed to 10/10 with misc food, with the red apple safely in the Vault.
"I am done! Next step!" shows up, but brings me back to the same point.
What am I missing? Should the apple be gone before I can go on? Or is it a bug?

alas one of the things the Tutorial teaches new users how to do is come here and ask why it is broken.
You will need to ask in Subeta-Help-Ticket Center to see if this is a new bug or if the instructions on what you should do are not clear. Us ordinary old users who hang out here in Help & Questions cannot look at the Tutorial for you, it's invisible to us.
Staff here is friendly and helpful, and most Tickets get responded to within three hours.
The tutorial actually requires you to feed the Red Apple to your pet, so you will have to do that before you can progress I'm afraid!
I'm currently working on improving the tutorial to make things like this more clear :)

For a while it went back to the "create a pet" stage, later (probably rollover) went back to the "feeding" tutorial stage.
Feeding worked, the next section ("playing") even had the name of the pet I fed.
Playing worked, though no pet name was mentioned (and I was just figuring out if the name of the first one created or the one last "used" was substituted).
The games/quest ("earning money") screen I'll keep for now, no time to go through it all at the moment.
