We've been making a lot of changes to the layout over the past few months to support this change, and now it's here. We're removing the mobile layout. It turns out, it was never actually that mobile friendly anyway.
We've got more changes in the pipeline that involve making our current layout more mobile friendly (without screwing up your pet profiles!) and collapse correctly.
Until then, we're removing the mobile layout as it is today. It's been almost impossible keeping up two separate layouts as we've added more and more javascript and styling to the site, the mobile layout has always lagged (or just fallen) behind, and a lot of newer features just don't work on it.

Thank you, Keith! The mobile layout was killing me, and has had all sorts of ads lately :o
that's nice, mobile layout does save some data, but lately with some huge ads on the bottom of the page it was better to use the desktop layout, and it works better, mainly with tabs (shops, coliseum etc.)
I've always hated the mobile layout. If I had to subeta on my phone I would just immediately go to the full site, but sometimes it would just decide it wanted to go back to the mobile layout. So good riddance! And thanks for all your hard work!
Oh thank goodness, I always defaulted to the original on mobile anyway. This saves a step! ~SU

I think the only thing the mobile layout had going for it was the Suggestions widget only worked for the mobile layout XD
Glad I dont have to switch the layout every time I log onto mobile now XD
