hello there! id be really interested in Wess.

ive been working on a setting that includes all my pets as characters, and you can already see some of the story up on Vonn's profile. So the idea that I have for Wess would be a as a blind/visually impaired young adult who was seperated from his sibling in an accident in the capital, and was taken in by the most important information broker in the city, Informer, which is another pet/character of mine. He gets education from her, but accidently recognizes his aptitude for magic by using water as a sort of "net" to feel his surrounding. He, as non certified/permitted magic usage is illegal, practices in secret and excells in using his own power very subtly. As for personality, I have him as being very mischievious, and cunning, willing to use everything in his arsenal to thrive. Hes driven to find his sibling, but is also bitter because he doesnt understand why hes not been found yet; he doesnt yet know that his sibling is now a scholar at the palace (yet another character/pet of mine)

Im a writer and an artist, but ive done most of my work offsite, and have been slowly adding onto charahub, where you can see some of the art ive attempted.

I am still very much interested. :D I apologize, I haven't had much time outside of work to sit down and really type out an application.

To be honest, I don't have one solid idea for Wess, I have a few I could apply to his name, however. Seeing as how it's one of my favorite names, I don't see an issue with me slapping any of the various character ideas I've got on him.

I'm currently torn between two... maybe three. The first would be a telekinetic conman who rakes in the cash by staging 'hauntings' and charging for both investigation and 'exorcism/cleansing' of the so-called haunted house.

The second is a shapeshifter who takes the forms of various cryptozoological creatures in order to evade police capture while he commits crimes.

The third is less developed, but I have a large amount of Fallout-roleplay-based characters, some of which are currently nameless, and I think Wess would fit in well with them. (The ones onsite are Rori, Gage, Novac, and Dell). Wess might fit a gunslinger character of mine, or I might go the 'medic' route since I don't have a solid medic character yet. :)

Wess would be Wess Sylvan, an orphan raised in the same ritzy high-rise orphanage as Boyd in the Lock district of Atlas, Earth. In the 26th century, earth is reduced to wasteland, ruins, and massive cities, and most inhabitants carry the blood of multiple alien races. The majority of Wess’s blood is of a race derogatorily referred to as elves, with silvery skin, long, pointed ears, and a tendency towards secrecy and animosity. He enjoys a thoroughly solitary life on his stealth ship, ’procuring’ artifacts for wealthy merchant Boyd, the only person he maintains contact with. Though he is a remorseless thief, he is not violent, avoiding conflict instead through meticulous planning and high-dollar cloaking technology. He adores music and his animal companions (idk what exactly yet, just a hoard of cute alien things that chime or whistle or dance), and would be mortified if anyone were to discover this, or anything about himself for that matter. Not even Boyd has been invited to his ship. He has dull blue eyes with barely detectable pink bits, light gray skin, and silver-brown hair he keeps fairly short. I made him a color palate here, just cause it helps me visualize = http://www.colourlovers.com/palette/4562138/Wess I’d train him up to lv ~50, fill his TC, and get him a profile similar to Boyd’s. Haven’t hunted down any TC or minions yet, but I might give him a for a while, I’m kinda having a good time imagining a bunch of them making frog sounds lol.

• edit: btw I do art sometimes, I wasn’t going to mention it bc I haven’t finished anything in years :') Regardless, Wess would find a home in my sketchbooks. recent attempts= x, x, x. also learning to do pixel art, hilariously bad so far but examples are on these profiles= x, x, x, x, x *edit again: oh lol i forgot I did this! I'm actually proud of this one = x *annnd another edit: you may have noticed I adopted another pet since applying; I just wanted to say I am still very much interested in Wess ^^
