I was very dissapointed when subeta stopped Stock Market several years ago Now i have suggest please return Stock Market

Stock Market for me is very Helpfull to gain sP, very fun and unique so please consider to give back

I would only like to see the stock market return only if it was somehow turned into a real game. The old stock market was completely random and that was boring.

No thanks. :/ Quests are more than enough for earning sP right now. Stock markets are kinda boring and require a lot of maintenance to avoid ruining the game economy.

I'd rather not have staff re-balance the whole economy just because the stock market ended up pumping masses of sP into the system.

It's fine the way it is. If any dead features are scheduled to come back, I'd much rather have the auctions make a return.

Besides (and I could be completely wrong here) don't most of these stock markets end up working more or less on a base of "buy everything that you can for cheap, wait a month, then sell for a ton of profit"?

Stock market was one boring thing tbh. Quests are already paying well enough and it's easy to make sP as it is right now.

We don't really need another money faucet into the game.

Hm no thanks, Pet Site Stock Markets mostly just pour money into the system (Bad) and are run by complete random chance instead of any actual trends (also bad) so I think it'd just be bad for the site ultimately

Considering the state of subeta’s economy in general more sp being poured into the system isn’t exactly the best thing.

Eh, the stock market was pretty boring and I remember it being easy to exploit? Idk if they could redo it so it functioned better, then maybe.

If sP is the problem, we can always use the holiday currencies so we can get/lose more after the holidays or something like the Bitcoin but in a Subeta style and you can only use it in a special shop

1. The point of holiday currencies being kinda limited in distribution is because staff kinda want people to take part into the holidays to get currency. Like, you can get a little via the bathhouse, but that's pretty much it. They want people to be active during events as well.

If I could just go and build a stockpile of currency by doing nothing, I'd only log on the site a couple things a month. That's the opposite of what is good for the site - more users, more traffic, more of everything.

2. We absolutely do not need more currencies on this site. We absolutely do not need more special shops either.

Yeah I was just thinking about a way to bring it back because it's not the first time the Stock Market is coming up so there's a demand for this game..

About the second, I can also understand the reasons no to have a new currency but we all know that at some point there will be a new one with a new shop.. and we will just get used to it.. so a Virtual virtual currency with an Atebus and internet/electronic lore items won't be that bad just for the stock game.. this way we don't mess up the messed up economy and we make some people happy..

I never got into the stock market when it was still active and by the time I considered getting into it; it had mostly been unfixed for ages at that point. It just didn't really interest me though that isn't Subeta specific. I've never really been interested in stock market type things in general in most pet sites I've been to. I just find them boring, usually.

The stock market when it was still active poured a bunch of sp into the system, but didn't take anything out in return so the value of Subeta currency just ended up heavily deflated and lost value in return instead.

Which, just really isn't good for the economy of the site.

I'm not really sold on the idea of having a specific non-sp type currency for the return of the stock market either. I admit part of this is because I also wonder why when I don't think it was a feature that, even when it was active, wasn't that widely used on site? I also would honestly rather just keep to the amount of special currencies we do have which I think in general is more than enough as it is. The staff should better look at the left over code from the feature that was still running last year, and get rid of it.

like the stocks will not going to zero or bankrupt please ..just going in lowest point so all our sp in stock market will not lose

What would be the point of the stock market, then?

It would only be adding sP into the economy if there was no chance of losing sP. Someone could buy the stocks very low, wait for a few months for them to go up and sell for profit. It would make it possible to get rich by doing nothing at all.

It's pointless and very, very bad for Subeta's economy. No, thank you, the site really doesn't need stocks like those. 😐

The inability of stocks going to 0 or bankrupting made this idea go to "Wow, this is pretty terrible considering the lack of SP sinks, but at least, there is a risk so I guess it could have fans" to "This is the complete opposite of a good idea, would only break the economy further, would make inflation go up, and encourage people to bot the stock market"

please dont bring them back, we need more sp sinks than generators

our economy is only getting worse and i worry for it we really need to take sp out

The stock market was super easy to exploit. I wasn't even active with it and didn't even know what I was doing, but I still earned quite a lot off of it. Also, without a risk factor, then it'd just ruin the Subeta economy more.

If anything, I'd rather we have auctions again.

I think a lot of people here are actually just wrong about the implications of a stock market on subeta, even one similar to the neopets model that was based on basically just a random number generator.

Ever since they removed both bank interest and the stock market, there is no reason to save sP, and high-end items and CSC have inflated like CRAZY because they are the only safe haven investments for billionaires.

By giving people ways to make capital gains on their sP, it prevents it from flooding into things like CSC. People making sP from sP that only goes back into making sP would actually probably bring long-term item deflation to the economy. Run well, a stock market could also potentially help as an sP sink, by occasionally sending companies into bankruptcy. Holding onto stock which there would be a potentially infiinte quantity of, sinks sP away from the people that hoard CSC or high-end items.

A lot of my assumptions assume that you run it a certain way, but a stock market doesn't need to automatically be an sP faucet. I think it would very likely be a net pseudosink at the minimum, and could very easily help to regulate the economy as an actual sp sink.

Bank Interest even at 1%/year would also probably be a net pseudo-sink and cause item prices to drop.
