I don't know if anyone has suggested it, but it would help me immensely if one of our approval queue gurus would supply us with a horizon line and vanishing point to use for background creation. I have noticed in my wardrobe that there are a LOT of items that "float" on existing backgrounds. Now.. I've been trying to get an item accepted and it's being refused for "floating". It is so very frustrating when I'm being denied for that, when there is no consistency around the site anyway. Can we please get a guideline so we're not flying blind? I don't know if there's a solution for the existing items on the site.. but for a couple quick examples; if you layer the saloon photograph over the soda jerk shop sign, there's clearly a problem. Also if you layer the wooden frames on the shop sign they're also too high. Even the unfinished frames don't match to the wooden frames and I thought those were all created for the purpose of layering and creating a "room".
Nevermind CWs, the official site art needs as well, IMO. Or, at least they shouldn't deny items based on that if there's not going to be a guideline for it.
I completely agree! I've so many items that would look great together if only they're the same height up! I do think it's unfair to have a CW denied for "floating" when other official items are inconsistent.
