I'm going to be extremely picky because this is a damn good name, I'd keep him and probably eventually think of something for him but I feel like he's being neglected as-is so I'd like to find a new home for him if possible. Show me your shit- On this thread only please, I really don't want a ton of Smails. Tell me your plans, I want to see art and/or future character plans, and I want to see pets you're proud of. If he's leaving me I want him to go to someone who will baby him.

I am so interested omg you have no idea I had this character idea for some time but I never refined it, I feel that Thunderbolt is the perfect pet to bring it to life.
Background/character idea: His names is Indra (इन्द्र), based on the indian thunder god. He is a elder pagan God, forgotten at this point of history. At His peak of popularity, in the past, people would feed Him sacrifices in exchange of protection against floods and storms that could ruin the harvest. Now He is forgotten, and to survive he offers wishes and treasures to any human in exchange of a sacrifice. This is the form that he shows up to humans, as a god he doesn't have a physical form: art and HA representation

As far as the character creation and pet work goes, I always make my own profiles. I like to have art as a center piece of the profile, those are usually made by my dear friend (who also made the art I'm presenting you). English is not my first language, and even if I can write in it, I can't make it look real good, so I always hire someone to do the writing, but the whole story and characters are original. Sometimes I do art too (like in Beatz's profile) and thats probably the case with this character, cause I really like the design, I don't have anything like that yet. owo

About Me
My name is Legend, I am a 27 year old long time subeta player come back from a long time haitus.
I am a freelance artist, and after some hecktic life stuff, I have a lot of time to dedicate to my art, therefore my characters and pets.
Although my pets pages arent complete yet, a lot of it was because when I came back the codes were broken and images were lost. So I recently had to start all over.
I roleplay all of my pets, they're not just my trophys. A lot of them are going to be in some comics I plan on drawing, and their characters and designs are going to be used for more then just subeta eventually.
I am very active here on Subeta. Soon as my pets pages are complete I plan on entering them into the Spotlight. All of my pets have certain achievements I'm going for them. For example, Khandii is a gourmet, Damitri training, Etherreal reading books.

For Thunderbolt
I dont usually post applications for pets, if I adopt it's usually from the pound.
Khandii, Lucii, and Etherreal were all created by me.
But soon as I saw Thunderbolt, I knew I had to at least try!
I would change him to a female, her nick name Thunder. She would probably be included in the background story of the pets I was currently zapping, Rainforest. /Rain & Thunder/ She would be super cocky and mean, with a liking for playing pranks. She'd be rude, pushy, and brash. SHe has no concern for anyones feelings. Maybe except Rain because Rain is so kind and tolerant. Rain was the only one who was nice even though she was mean. Others were mean to Rain too... They all thought she was a push over until Thunder saw how much pain she was in, and decided then to protect her.
-creating her HA right naooo... and Rainforests too. If I get thunder that will solidify Rains character outline too.

Aaah I'm gonna apply for him! I'm honestly so excited and have been since I saw this thread I can't really think straight and am having trouble coming up with a real character.
But I'll get the basics down! I'm Nuke, I've been a player for for 11 years. I recently took down all my pet profiles because the site wonked something up and everything got messed up, but I went back and painstakingly fixed up a handful of them just to have them to show off to apply for this guy!
I'm excited for the name because I love electricity. It's a super weird thing to love but I am so passionate about electric-related things like thunderstorms, lightning, and Electric-type Pokemon. Probably if I got him, I would work around a character I've had brewing in my head for a while, who is like a messenger of the gods and is an actual thunderbolt brought to life. He would probably be a Legeica and related to my character (and pet) Kyrie, who is also an equine divine messenger.
Some pets of mine:
- Elecman, who is currently my representative for all things Electric (and robotic) that I love. His treasure is his main point.
- Geno, another fanpet, who represents my love of the stars. His treasure is also his main point... I really really love to go nuts with pet treasures in order to represent who they are.
- Zayton Honeycutt, another space guy but he's more focused on his story (and his overlay I slaved over!)
- Aksaith is an OC of mine, his main point is his story.
I made all the profiles for these guys as well as wrote their stories (if they have them). I can't draw, so I commission art for my pets, but I do make edited overlays (like Honeycutt's and Aksaith's). The opportunity to own Thunderbolt is super exciting to me because Elecman is currently my only electricity-related pet, and having one that could be an OC (and not like, a Pokemon or something) gives me sort of a blank canvas to work with, since I love the "medium" of electricity but haven't been able to find a proper vessel to work with!
Sorry that this app is super weirdo, I'm just so excited about the name that I'm incoherent, haha!
When I saw this pet go UFA it immediately inspired a new character idea. Though, looking at other applicants, mine feels a little silly LOL.

I'll get right into it. Basically I want to make Thunderbolt an MLP fan character that also doubles as an original Pegasus character in a story I have. My pet Geode is also a pony ( no work on her page yet bc I've been zapping for a gender change and I just got it recently ) who has crystals growing all over her and it turned her into a unicorn. She's lived in a cave her entire life with crystal ponies just like her. Thunderbolt would be the first pony to discover these ponies and befriend Geode. With her help Geode would be the first of her kind to leave the cave and the two of them would travel around together.
Thunderbolt would be a very kind pegasus who loves to learn and meet new people. She's curious and never holds back, which gets her into all kinds of fun and sometimes dangerous situations. She loves reading and listening to thunderstorms. She even sometimes sleeps on clouds when they're storming!
I'm going to color this digitally later after I clean some but I wanted to apply now in case later was too late. So here's my design idea for her! First the different hair ideas and then this was colored with a coloring book page but it shows the colors and marking she will have
Another thing I would LOVE to do if I go this pet is I would make an IRL custom version of her! I've got 1 custom pony done do far ( all the others are waiting for me to have the funds to buy them hair ) to show if you would like to see right here. They look kind of rough, I know, but they're my first one and a practice. If I did one for Thunderbolt it would be done with an airbrush and sealed paint so it would be much nicer~.
I haven't been back on Subeta long but I have managed to get my pets Beary and Lickety Split almost finished! They just need me to buy them profiles. Lickety Split I'm especially proud of because of her TC. Other WIP but still got work going on pets are Orrick, Marble, Douglas, and Twila. Most of my other pets have fragments of work set up if you would like to look at those, also.
Again, I feel like this is very silly, but its what I'm passionate about. I'm very happy that, even if I don't get chosen, I've made a new characters out of this. Thank you so much for your time reading this, and best of luck finding a new owner!
