I'm in desperate need of an update :( My battle pet is Tak, and all his stats are visible on his profile if you want to take a look: Tak
These are the weapons I have: Reborn Icewand of Doom Blessed Trident of the Banished One w/ Wind Baguette and Water Defense Cabochon Recycle Blaster Icy Freezing Wand of Doom Phoenix Quill Rainbow Quill Sawed Off Double Barrel Shotgun with Machete w/ 2 Parched Baguettes Eternal
Scrolls: Divine Denizhen Soothing Current Psycho Smasher Poisonous Barrage Ember Emblem Gate of Evil Lava Spit
Thanks for any advice you can provide!
People with better set ideas will follow with better suggestions, but you should replace your Icy Freezing Wand of Doom with a 100% freezer at your earliest convenience. Gorgun is 35 Hard Tokens in the Battle Shop or about 4ish million in user shops, and Scientist Specs are under 3 million. Either will be a suitable stand in while you build an Intricate Energized Helmet.
You'll also want to replace that Rainbow Quill- Reviver of the Lion is usually recommended. It's a once per battle 90% heal with 1-5 block of each icon. It's pricey (62ish million in the Antique Shop), but always useful due to the percent based heal.
Thanks! Ha, I just looked up the Intricate Energized Helmet, and now I see why you say "while I build it" lol. I will get to work on that, and in the meantime get one of the cheap stand-ins.
Reviver of the Lion sounds good too. I'll hold off a bit in case anyone else has other suggestions, but I can put the sP I was saving for a pet slot towards it instead.
There's a second item you may want from the Antique Shop for the same cost as the Reviver. Soma Tablets are a blaster that turns one of your opponent's weapons into an Empty Pillbox that does like 2 icons of damage, has a chance to bless, curse, and small chance to freeze and steal. People disagree about the value of blasting so you will want more than just my "OMG I LOVE SOMA" opinion since it's not exactly cheap.
I agree on Reviver of the Lion and Soma Tablets. Both of those are set staples that you will use forever, which justifies the cost.
Your Reborn Icewand of Doom and Blessed Trident are the superior attackers so I would take out Sawed Off Double Barrel Shotgun with Machete and Eternal to make room.
I think that leaves one space left where I would put Item Hunters Bomb. It's super cheap, does a ton of icons, and is semi-breakable. You could also consider Flayed Lord Breastplate if you prefer to shield.
For scrolls, I would buy an Aftershocks Scroll as soon as possible. It's a very good infinite use scroll with attack, defense, and healing and will outperform your Divine Denizhen. You may also want to stock up on some Cobalt Eternal and Fatal Fire Scrolls to strengthen your defense.
Thanks! Will add those to my WL. Can you or recommend something to block freeze attacks? I can't get anywhere against the Shadow because of those!
@ Balloon Do you mean ice damage? Sierrac Basal Ice Flail was one I used for a long time, water and ice block with smol heal and freeze chance that scales with speed. When you get to T10 you might prefer Unstable Sample Syringe which is Ice and Magma block. If you mean getting chain frozen to death then it's something like the Intricate Energized Helmet's blessing and lots of parched and BoNA mods and sacrificing a baby to the battle gods.
Wrain YOLOd 5 wins on the Shadow with its regular set and it's not too much bigger than Tak. So I don't think it's out of your reach if you tailor your set instead of tilting at it while drunk and not caring like I did.
[edit] I did the last five wins on Wrain with a slightly tweaked set. Intricate Energized Helmet (for the two turn anti-freeze blessing), Blessed Trident of the Banished One, Malignant Rift Staff (for dark block), Reborn Icewand of Doom (didn't use it, could probably replace it with Recycle Blaster for blasting, or Rapier of Error for curse/freeze chance), Phoenix Quill, Reviver of the Lion, Soma Tablets, Amulet of Neutrality (because I hate being one shot at the start of the battle).
Scrolls were Aftershocks, Gelaspell, Divine Denizhen, Sancturia Exodin. Could probably replace Gelaspell with something like Psycho Smasher or Cold Blast.
I meant he chain freezes me to death :/ I wish I hadn't stuck my parched mods on the Shotgun with Machete but I guess I could try that. Ah well, I was just hoping to snag the achievement before those guys went away for another year.
Gimme a second, I think I could send a couple parched mods your way.
Blessing of Natural Armor Tear Crystal also has 100% freeze protection when the blessing activates. It only lasts 3 turns vs 5 turns for the Parched Baguettes, but is readily available from the Battle Shop.
