if you havent watched it, it's like narnia & harry potter mashed together by some drunk writer. the actors are supposed to be new college students but theyre in their 30s & act like whiny angsty horny teens. the whole show is hilariously trash & i love it

Does it get anything better? After stopped shortly after season one because it was ... boring. Some things made no sense and it was overall bland. The story has so much potential ;___; !!

haha well unfortunately season 2 went south for me, so it might not be your cup of tea. :( i think season 3 is a little better

i agree that it has potential. i do wish the writing was a lot better. the absurdity & how parts of it made no sense entertains me a lot though lol

i could be wrong but i read that they separated the seasons from the books where season 1 is quentin's perspective and season 2 was julia's. i never read them though jsyk

I read the books first, then started on the show. Quentin is just as whiny in the books as he is on the show. I'm actually really liking Season 3. It's a lot lighter and Eliot and Margo are awesome.

i really should pick up the books! i honestly love all the characters except quentin lol. also i love tick. i cant believe he's actually evil! i was so sad with that revelation lol

I actually like the show and the books. I love anything that involves magic. I hope the afterworld really is a giant library lol

can i just say that i miss margo's totally vogue eyepatch looks? also julia & quentins platonic friendship is the kind i want to see in many shows!!! a lot of shows these days cant put two cis people in a room w/out making them fuck each other

also that season 3 ending!!!

I've watched the show from the beginning, never read the books. I like it. I sometimes prefer certain stories/plots/characters more than others but that's the way it is with ensemble shows, I believe.
