I've only seen the original run. I didn't see it while it was on TV, I'd just always heard that it was a good show and eventually my boyfriend convinced me to give it a shot on Netflix. I was hooked pretty quick. I haven't seen the new seasons yet- only heard pretty mixed reviews.

I got into the show only like, a little over two years ago when the first revival season started. I watched that whole season and decided I HAD to consume every bit of X-Files media I could. I watched the whole series in its entirety in maybe...6 months? My parents were huge X-Files fans during its original run, and the three of us watched through the whole thing together and from episode one I was IN LOVE.

I think I was one of maybe 10 people who shipped Skinner and Scully for a while and I couldn't get anyone else on board with me lol. Skinner doesn't even seem to be anyone's favorite character, but I love him!

I met Mitch at a con in my city last year and I got to give him a hug and he's super sweet and friendly. And probably a lot easier to meet than David or Gillian, just cause he's not quite as popular.

Oh! And I've seen all of the latest season except for the finale so I can talk about everything but the last episode!

I used to watch the original series back when it was first coming out (I was like 8 or 9 at the time). Quit watching sometime around the time the movie came out...Caught 1 or 2 epis of the run they did last year but dunno if I'll get back into it again

my mom and i watched the original series a couple of years ago but we were in the middle of a move so we never got to finish it.. we really need to! i think i was about 4 seasons in?? i'm excited to finish it and watch the new stuff. i really love basically all the characters i've met, especially the ones that are also actors on Twin Peaks, like Scully's father/Major Briggs. the plot episodes are amazing, but a lot of the MOTW are great too, i really really loved the freak show episode.

My parents watched it when I was younger, and I watched a few episodes with them and super loved it. I got back into it when I was older and could better appreciate it. Still can't watch the episode "Home" though. shudder

I really liked the revival.

When it was announced they were bringing the show back my dad started watching from the beginning on Netflix to refresh his memory of the show. I watched along and wound up becoming interested to begin with because of the theme music's creepy vibe. Still have only seen season one and the revival seasons but I have almost the entire book collection and some other merch.
