Can't use Events sidebar

I can't delete things from my events past a certain point because as soon as the cursor gets anywhere near the sidebar, someone's user preview hover thing pops up (where you see their HA, name, awards, pet, etc.) It prevents me from clicking on or deleting events (unless I get so many that some end up beneath that hover preview.) This happens on desktop and mobile (on mobile it's when I try to click on an event link or delete an event; the hover pops up instead and then covers up the event.) This has been happening since late morning, as soon as the text on this site started showing up in italics.
Is it always the same user's hover that shows up there? Do you have their user hover somewhere else on your sidebar, like in a Notepad widget for instance?
What happens if you hover over a username and then move your mouse near the sidebar?
Finally, could you please share your browser/OS information for both your desktop and mobile device? Since it's happening on both, it might not be relevant, but just in case.
