I'm not sure if this is actually a bug or if it's supposed to be like this, but no quests other than Quentin have ever asked me for retired items. However Carl just asked me for a Skull Candle. It seemed strange to me since it never happened before, so maybe someone can shed some light on this?

A board has been made about this before so I can actually answer this! This is not a bug, Carl can ask for certain retired items. The candles seem to be popular with him.

I tried searching for this but couldn't find it, sorry for the repeat question. Thanks for clearing this up! I'll be sure to stock up on candles for Carl then. :P
