I know this has been suggested before, but I wanted to reiterate it given just how AMAZING I found several of the stages for this year, especially this step in Song. The figure hunched over, sprouting darkness from its back and dripping ichor; it is dynamic and beautiful and haunting and I WANT IT as a transparent wearable. Dressing one's base as a Faustian demon or a battleworn angel seeing a soul bound to a bargain or witnessing a comrade fallen in front of them, or tucking the HA behind a background and just having the tormented figure in darkness or an idyllic setting as they transform, or playing the witch watching a victim's curse take effect (or the finished zombie gloating over a victim)...I will pay CSC. I will pay sP. (Edited to add that I'd take it as locked in my wardrobe as well, no sell or trade). I just want this so badly. ;_;

And then there's the art that went into the mole rate strain, which would be awesome.

Anyway, just wanted to put this into words. Thank you, staff, for a fun event and some truly top-notch ideas this year. Please give us the chance to show it off later in the year as well.

Ha, I was expecting people to be frustrated at stage 5's lack of dressability.

But yeah, I still support this. Stage 7 doom blooms and the caterkiller cocoons are the best and I want to see people wearing them again!

Yeah! It would be so so so good!! I wouldn't mind having to sort of "pay" to unlock it (as long as we get to keep it permanently) but of course the most awesome would be free: simply "click" the skin and a dropdown menu would appear and let you pick "Stage" :O drools to the idea cmon pleaaaaaaaaaaaase

You're not wrong. I was hoping to do some cool things with it, which isn't possible with its current lack of transparency. But that could be solved with it as a wearable, sooooo...puppydog eyes at staff

I'd be fine with it as a base option instead as well, but I think that would be trickier. Whereas the figure as an item could be as simple as 'take figure, make transparent, save file appropriate', and Bob's your (wearable) uncle. Same with the mole rat foreground.

indeed, both options are good! i think originally why i didn't go with the wearable suggestion is simply to entice staff LOL because i know that it means a lot more work and it also means it's less rattached to the event if it's no longer skin-related, so i doubted they'd care for the idea but by all means, if they wanna do it, of COURSE we'd be happy! they'd indeed have to make the ones with a white background (like your current one) clear, so hopefully the artist kept their layers separated in photoshop :O gasssssp but yes, in case none of this is possible, the dropdown menu to choose stage direct from skin still remains doable and interesting, and even layerable to some extent!! n_n

Yes, I definitely agree that it would be ultra fun to be able to use "stages" of zombieness in HA creation!

At one point Keith mentioned an options to lock wearables into the wardrobe, no way to remove it; it was floated as an idea to provide cheaper options in the Antique Shop. It got shot down, but I'd be fine with it if staff made it a way to get zombie strains, maybe from the Zombie Den or off the VIP page if they wanted to make it very specific to Survival.

oh yes, it did start out frustrating, but in the end I had so many ideas I could have made a dozen equally fun HAs! Even with the non-transparency, its turned out to be so enjoyable to work with that I want to keep it!

Go for it! The "spotlight" just seemed a natural to get rid of some of that whiteness without obscuring the figure.

I really hope that there is a way to make it happen, the possibilities of Songs stages 5 and 6 are just amazing and I would so love to use them as often as I want. Would even pay CSC for that and I am usually not an avatar person.

Maybe there can be a lore-related way of introducing the steps? Maybe someone can curse us with each stage? Bless us with each stage? Then it won't be skin related but more like.. a state..???

I'd be all over the option to use individual developing stages in the wardrobe like a rabid zombie on fresh brains.

No clue how it would be implemented and it would be understandable (if disappointing) if staff wanted to limit the progression stages to the survival event to keep it 'special' (for want of a better word).

The art is just so fun to work with, it's a real pity there's only a limited number of hours to utilise it.

Honestly, I think the easiest way to create something to this effect would be to create more partial doses. A la . You could make the a bit more complete in some cases (entire poopcorn from Caterkiller), but, it would be a wonderful way to have some of the strain highlights without wearing the final skin.

I would really like to see this happen, too! I think has a good idea, making the stages item wearables. ;)

Oh yes, yes, yes! Stage 1 but definitely stage 6 of FEVERMORE AKA SONG would be awesome as individual wearables (transparent obviously so backgrounds ect can be used) the artwork is fantastic and shouldn't be confined to just a few hours of transition!
