Just an idle thought... but what if your HA was wearing a hair style from the salon during Pandemic and the virus strain also affected the hair, not just the skin? Maybe your hair would change color, fall out in patches, or stand straight up? Maybe it would change into horns or antennae, or melt right off your head...

I think this would add a new dimension to the already beloved holiday and if you were really ambitious, perhaps even have a zombie strain unlock a new hairstyle. Or perhaps every nth zombie strain would award you a new unlocked "zombie" style in the salon. Could be a great achievement prize.

I have no idea how difficult this would be to do code-wise, but since we already have skins, unlockable hair, and achievements -- I thought it wouldn't be THAT much of a stretch to put them all together.

Or am I way off base in even suggesting it?

It's an interesting idea, but I think it would probably be too difficult to implement. If they wanted to make it so that your hair changes with each stage of the virus progression, they would need to do different stages for EVERY hair style and redeemable wig that exists. Otherwise your specific style would just be changed to some generic hair to go with the zombie strain, so they only have to do one style of hair.

Also not everyone even uses the default hairstyles, so how would the strain work for people just using regular items as wigs? It just seems like too much work, in my opinion.

I wouldn't mind having more unlockable hairstyles that are zombie-like though.

I was thinking of a zombie strain that starts off as a hairdo - like Medusa hair - and overtakes the entire avatar. Or an metamorphosizing wearable that becomes a transformable wig at the final stage.
