Evening! I always find it funny that while it's the early evening here, it's some ungodly hour in the morning in the states. I've never been to Ballarat, but I've heard of it.

This is true. Kiama...home of the Kiama Blowhole, and beaches, yay for tourism for us too.

Yay for the Gold Coast! That's about the only thing I really know is near Brisbane...

The Gold Coast is good . :D I've never really been exploring around Australia though so I've never been to Kiama/heard of it. :( One day I will travel all over Australia! :P

One of my good friends lives in Ballarat! c:

It's a little sea side town, about 2 hours south of Sydney, 45 minutes south of Wollongong. It's packed with tourists during the summer season. We have beaches, two blow holes, there are numerous little wineries near by. And in town, we have an amazing local pizza place. And, I suppose there's Jamberoo Action Park, which is a mini water, fun park thing...other than that, not much here. Kiama is full of old people.

Perth just feels really quiet and boring compared to the other capitals (and then there's that whole overboard 'nanny state political correctness' thing that annoys so many people, but I think that happens to varying degrees across the whole country).
